True. I've run into that as well, despite rarely watching FOX NEWS and never listening to Limbaugh.

I guess he figured most people who would vote for him don't make that kind of scratch. What he basically said is that he's going to take from the rich to give to everybody else. I guess he thought $250,000 would appeal to his potential voters.$250,000 has been a hang-up of his since he decided to run for President. But surprise-surprise. DumBama lied once again. And what he didn't raise as a tax, services and goods increased because of his policies such as sun tanning salons, health insurance premiums, Obama Care fines, electric usage, veterinary fees, ATM fees, credit card fees..........

But the real problem is, MORON. You freaks cause a LOT of other innocent people to be destroyed by collateral damage. Which is something that I'm NOT willing to tolerate. I'm on the same page. They seem to want to do things differently than intended by our founders, yet they oppose separation and independence when proposed by conservatives.
What's up with that?
At the same time, when conservatives point out constitutional violations and government oppression, they tell us we should move or renounce our citizenship.
What's up with that?
They seem to want to make or keep everyone as unhappy as they are.

Ironically, his wife made $300,000 per year before moving to the White House. Her job was so important, that when she left for the White House, they didn't even bother to replace her.

<quoted text>Well pookie, it does say when a man lies with a man or a women with a women it is an abomination. The word liberal isn't in the bible either but rest assured it is spoken of in Revelations.
Neither is the word conservative, you bible thumping moron. Bigot is in there, you bigot. Hypocrite. Yup, that's in there, hypocrite.

BTW, many theologists doubt the authenticity of the book of revelations but for people like you who can't think for themselves but are, however, consumed with sex or death or a city in the sky....the book of revelations and the 2nd coming are the only thing you have to cling to besides your guns. It's like Hollywood, Bible style..... lmao

No word "homosexuality" in the bible. No word "pedophilia", either. Interestingly though, "lying with the same sex" is an "abomination", according to the HUMAN who interpreted what he thought God said, but never does the bible say raping a child is an abomination. Perhaps the HUMAN who wrote the bible FOR GOD was a pedophile and conveniently left out a truly vile act: Child rape.

Duh, errr, drool...never thought of that did ya, le Dumbo?

Independent thought. You should try it some time.
Start by reading Greek and Roman Mythology. The "Jesus"
story was written thousands of years before there ever was
a Jesus. Thousands of gods over thousands of years yet your "bible" is the be all to end all. Never mind it was manipulated by the Roman Catholic Church and only the books that suited their cause were included. No wonder pedophilia is never mentioned in the RCC bible. How convenient for them and their idiotic followers like you.

bahahahhahahahahahaha
You are pathetic.

It actually seems that they despise true Freedom and Liberty. And that they are far more comfortable with slavish ideals. As ol' Ben Franklin put it:

"Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither".

But I'm thinking it is >us< that they don't want to have "Liberty". In order for them to carry on their twisted agenda without fear of reprisal. That's the only thing that makes any sense to me anyways.
Exactly. I have felt that way quite some time. At least I feel that way about their leaders. The followers are just gullible enough to buy into the propaganda. When they are confronted with facts that disprove their brainwashed stance, they either feel they are still right but not smart enough to rebut, that usually leaves them grasping at straws, or they realize they are wrong but would rather be drawn and quartered than admit it.

Lets's look at some of the NRA's super-stupid arguments:
Gun laws won't work because criminals don't obey laws. Well duh what a friggen revelation, why do we bother having laws against anything, since criminals don't obey laws? We spend trillions on cops, prosecutors, judges and prisons and we still have crime, but we believe it's worth it because we make it as hard as possible for them to commit their evil deeds. Just as tough gun laws will not eliminate gun deaths, but it will make them much less frequent.

Violence in video games and movies, or lack of mental illness treatment, not guns, cause gun deaths. Another duh! These games and movies are just as popular in other countries, and there are mentally ill people all over the world, but other countries don't have the same rate of gun deaths because they don't allow every nutter to own a gun. And who's going to pay for mental illness treatment? Who decides who's mentally ill? Plus a little thing called freedom of speech might make it hard to censor games and movies.

The Second Amendment. Gun nuts argue that the constitution protects unfettered access to guns. Rather ironic to see these same people who argue this are ready to dump the First Amendment right to free speech. News Flash: all constitutional rights have limits. We have a First Amendment right to gather peacefully to petition the government for redress of grievances, but just try having 50 people doing exactly that in Boehner's living room or even in the public hallway in front of his House office. They will be arrested. All of our other constitutional rights have limits so why are gun rights any different?

Using the same NRA logic you could make a case that anyone who votes Republican is mentally ill and should not own guns. What kind of nut votes for a party that denies clear scientific evidence on global warming, the age of the earth, and the health effects of pollution? What wacko votes for a party that promotes fantasies for political gain, such as "Obama was born in Kenya", or "abortions cause breast cancer"? And of course you have to be crazy to vote for a politician who believes government is incapable of useful accomplishments - talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy!

Not according to statistics. Statistics show we had more violence and gun deaths when states did have more stringent gun laws. As we states started to adopt more lenient gun laws for law-abiding citizens, gun violence reduced greatly.

Why do we have laws against anything? Because we don't stomp on people's rights when we make such laws in most cases. Instead of making illegally carrying a firearm a 10 year federal penalty, liberals instead want to disarm everybody and hope the criminals won't get their hands on guns. In Chicago, you barely get a slap on the hand for illegally carrying a firearm. They are the gun killing capital of the nation not to mention having the strictest gun laws in the country. In fact, it took a federal court to FORCE them to have a CCW program that they don't want.

Gun Control Facts: Detroit Crime Rate is the Result Of Gun Control
Steve Curtis
Ronald Reagan is often quoted as saying,“Government is not a solution to our problem, government is our problem.” The same can be said when it comes to gun control and crime in Detroit, Michigan.
A quick review of Michigan gun laws shows that law abiding citizens wishing to own a gun for self-protection are strongly regulated and actively discouraged. First, they have to take and pass the Michigan Basic Pistol Safety questionnaire. Then they have to apply for the Ten Day Handgun Purchase Permit to buy the gun and make sure they find and buy the gun of their choice within 10 days, otherwise they have start the process all over again. When they make their purchase, they have to fill out a Michigan Pistol Sales Record form and make sure the pistol has a valid firearm Safety Inspection Certificate.
Once the citizen has purchased their firearm, they have 10 days to take the gun to the local police department, have the sale recorded, and a new Safety Inspection Certificate issued in their name. Otherwise, they are considered in violation of the law and could be arrested on a misdemeanor gun violation.
Federal laws also require a background check if you purchase a gun from a licensed dealer with a Federal Firearms License.
Note that each and every legal gun buyer in Michigan, and particularly Detroit, must be approved by the local police at least twice each and every time they purchase a gun and undergo a background check by the federal government.
As a result, Detroit has the second highest murder rate in the nation and is considered by many to be the most dangerous city in which to live in the United States. Simply put, gun control, as a means of controlling crime and protecting law abiding citizens, is a dismal failure.
The reason is quite simple. Criminals don’t obey laws, register their guns, or bother getting permits. In fact, criminals are generally in favor of more stringent gun controls because it makes their criminal activities safer.
