Our guns will protect what is ours, and our neighbors as well. We are trained on how, and when to use them. The police cannot be everywhere.

Any honest cop will tell you that when it comes to crime that 99% of their job is to solve them after they happen, not to prevent them as you say they can`t be everywhere. It`s up each person to be responsible for their own safety and security, by any means necessary. Remember dead is dead, no 2nd chances.

WHITE males with no criminal record.
Any freaktard can by a gun at a gunshow or online and no backround check is required. If you support that, you support the murders of all the Americans I just listed. GFY you idiot.
Most of the guns shooting up entire neighborhoods in LA are not registered, and probably half the residents doing the shooting probably are here illegally.
Thanks to liberals like yourselves.

The endless shootings and murders taking place in ChiCongo {Obammy's} hometown are being commited overwhelmingly by black and latino gangbangers, many who are illegals, once again protected by liberals who advocate open borders and amnasty.

Detroit, the poor old motor city that liberals have destroyed by refusing to buy American union made autos prefering Toyota Prius's and Honda's is yep once again as with ChiCongo being shot up by black gangbangers.

The list of cities is mind boggling from Miami, Houston, Philly, Newark, Dallas, it doesn't really matter which city you pick,
It's blacks and hispanics and many of them illegals who are doing the vast amount of murdering.

Yeah you may have one or two crazy evil whites go on a killing rampage but however many they kill in a year will never add up to one night of killing by packs of BLACKS who have turned American streets into warzones that would make the Taliban blush with shame.

Hell, it's more than that! Not to mention, hollow points are against Geneva Convention rules if war! They aren't even going to "follow the rules" when they try to intimidate us into giving up our rights.
They can't afford to kill more than 2-5% of us. There wouldn't be enough taxpayers left to pay their bills.

Properly secured guns and ammunition don't kill individuals - guns and ammunition STOLEN FROM DEAD DUMBFCUKS WHO TRAIN THEIR VIOLENT, RETARDED KIDS TO SHOOT kill individuals.

Millions die from alcohol every year..........
More innocent people die in a few days from alcohol related deaths than innocent people die from guns in a year.......
But lets just look at the USA and murders..........
Yes the USA has a high rate of gun deaths compared to many countries.......
But the USA also has more murders from knives than these same countries.......
USA also has a higher rate of murder from objects like a ball bat......
But moron liberals dont want to consider these facts..........
No, millions of Americans don't die every year from alcohol. Do you think you can just throw out numbers that mean absolutely nothing?

The number #1 drug that's killing Americans today is RX drugs.
Not alcohol.

There are 32,000 deaths every year by gun.
18,000 of those are suicides.

If this doesn't concern you, and obviously it doesn't, than it is you with the problem. Gun violence will only get worse and it's only a matter of time before it effects you personally. My brother in law was killed by a drunk guy outside a bar while he was filling up his motorcycle with gas. He walked up, asked a question, didn't like what he said, so he shot him. He was an ex-con, too. My daughter had a friend in HS that accidentally killed himself while cleaning his gun. He came from a family of hunters, btw.

Thanks to the NRA telling us "more guns will make us all safer", the opposite reality is now true. You are far less safe in America today than when there were less guns on the streets.

We are the most violent country on the planet and that includes Iraq and Afghanistan who are actually at war. How sad is that?
Land of the Home and the free? Hardly. Can't go to the mall or the movies in America without getting gunned down anymore.

Sucks for you, Le Jumbo, who can only afford to bitch on topix all day, every day. Bet you wish you could afford the Bahamas or the ski slopes. Had you gone to college like the Obamas did, this wouldn't be an issue. Stop blaming them for your shortcomings and mediocre, mundane, life.

George W. Bush vacationed 879 days of his 8 year term.

Funny that none of you fat, white, bigots had a problem with that idiot vacationing almost 2 1/2 years of his 8 year term and that was even AFTER his slacking allowed us to be attacked on 9/11.

I don't have a problem at all with any president taking vacations. In this day in age there is no place in the world a president can go and not get everything done he can do from the White House.

BUT - when his family is traveling on the government's dime to different places it becomes a problem especially with the gloom and doom Barry told us would come from the sequester. If his family travels with him on his official travels it doesn't cost much more. When Shelly and the kids go on their own it does cost a great deal more. Probably way more than the White House tours cost.

The Bush twins traveled with their parents, hundreds of times, back and forth, to Texas, India, Europe etc. Please stop making it sound like President Obama is the first to fly his family on Air Force 1. Talk about ludicrous. It's obvious you view things through white colored glasses and anything NOT white must be robbing you of your tax dollars. Too funny.

It depends on how it is worded. "as many as," _______ related" and "up to" are typical agenda driven phrases used to justify a cause. For example, "up to 400,000 people die per year from tobacco related heart disease" does not give an exact number and many things cause heart disease it becomes "tobacco related" because a person does or has smoked.. 10 people dying that year falls into being truthful in that statement.

When you take the 32,000 number subtract the suicides (Japan has a gun ban yet the a much higher suicide rate), thug on thug shootings (cleansing the gene pool), police action shootings, self defense shootings, etc. the number doesn't sound quite as devastating. If you use the numbers for the guns Feinstein & Co want to ban the number is even lower.

If you choose to play the "if it just saves one" card that goes both ways. If a person using a firearm saves just one life...
