1 Don't they all have the 'right'? Shouldn't that be less than 1 percent registered? |

1 The antis keep pushing their agenda because that's the only thing they know: The easy lie instead of the hard truth. They LIVE Goebbels' mantra. Goebbels was Hitler's NAZI propaganda minister. The Mantra: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” And: “The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly - it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over” And: “Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.” So, you see? The more dire the prognostications, the more likely those will be believed. The truth is in their pudding: They keep repeating the lies, but time and again those lies are revealed in the way that their most dire of predictions never materializes. And so, they hope beyond hope for tragedy. And when that tragedy happens, they dance in the blood of the innocents, reveling mightily and cavorting with glee. But NEVER do they admit that it was yet another restriction foisted by them which predicated and fostered the possibility for the tragedy. |

1 >>Rhetoric mode ON<< Oh, come now! You're taking your rights 'way too seriously!' A license here, a license there, what's to complain of? Remember: If you have nothing to hide, then why complain about a little license? Good citizens will ~always~ obey the laws, even when those laws are egregious. >>Rhetoric mode OFF<< But I'll tell you what though: In the main of things as they are, there will arrive the point which will prove that licensure is a worthless endeavor, for it will be seen that the largest number of people are rather harmless and without ill intent. And ultimately, it will be shown that the license is nought but a tax upon a right — a thing which has been ruled entirely illegal. This was proven in Vermont, and later in Alaska, where in both places there exists no licensure. |

1 And prosecutors are charging the guy with the gun? Didn't a Jihadist do just this on the UNC campus a couple of years ago? Killed some students while talking with 911 on the phone telling the operator just what he was up to? I don't know much about Rochester Mn., but Both Ft. Lauderdale PD and Broward Sheriffs Office have had extensive training regards to weaponized automobiles (car bombs, suicide bombers, etc.) I think there are many in Florida that would have rendered the driver harmless rather than waiting for the big flash / bang of a suicide bomber in a crowded park. And then there are the screams of dying people, limbs and guts blown all over survivors, kids bloodied. Bush Lied People died... I also recall that 4th of July celebrations are always discussed as opportunistic targets for jihadists. The young man who drew his legally owned & carried gun, who was ready to protect innocents, perhaps avert a national tragedy and a Victory for jihadists that would be replayed ad-nasuem on Al Jezera; did his duty. He exhibited alertness, situational awareness and put himself in jeopardy. He is a great American and should receive a medal. Wake up Rochester! B3 Out |

1 I agree with the =essence= of your remark, but not the fact of what he did. There is a time and place for everything, and he didn't exercise the best of judgement —all things considered. Had he waited until that point which 'warranted' the exposure of the arm, then he wouldn't be in the hot water he finds himself currently. Perhaps the judge will be 'understanding,' and let him off with a warning. |

I didn't see anything in the article that would indicate poor judgment. It seems concise...I pictured him drawing his gun and taking a bead on the driver. I may have missed something or perhaps more to the story. There usually is. b3 Out |

...of course, I am thinking jihadist.
The article focuses on the possibility someone was hit by this driver. No info as to the driver having a seizure, elderly, hit the gas versus the brake...the usual Florida driver Vs. Pedestrian / Walgreens Store that comes to mind. I would think that the witnesses will help sort it out. B3 Out |

What? The streets aren't running red with blood after 5 years of legal CCWs? Did the anti-gun liberals not get their money's worth? Sorry, no refunds. See the sign over there.....yes, the one next to the equally worthless "No guns allowed" sign.
