Well one minute you're afraid your guns are going to be taken; next minute, you say it's not possible. Make up your mind, will ya?

LOLOLOL......you're so easy.

On top of everything else, you're a paranoid schizo.
When, nut job, are you going to "place your life on the line" for your so called rights. Cause you think they are in jeopardy right now or you wouldn't thumping your chest at me and Xando, now would you? But I suppose you say your waiting for me to come take your weapons.Of course you know that day will never come. Your guns don't amount to a hill of beans. You probably won't kill any innocent people-altho, you do sound like a psyco-or shoot a cop or pull an armed robbery. So there is no need to come get your guns. But, if the ATF or police wanted them, you can bet your hummingbird ass, they'll come get them. And you'll give them up like a chihuahua with a bone giving it up to a pit bull; tail between your legs.
Now go put your life on the line but don't shoot yourself in the foot. LMAO.

DON"T YOU SEE?
See if you can get this. Nobody wants to take away the good guys ARs but in order to stop the availability of them to the bad guys, the good guys can't have any more. The ones in the hands of the bad guys will then attrition off the streets.
But don't worry, as long as we have an NRA controlled congress, ARs won't be banned.
You don't know crap do you? These "gun nuts" you speak of are doctors, lawyers, judges, police officers, active and retired military personal, politicians, sitting and retired governors, and yes even ex presidents. The NRA is also made up of these American citizens who believe in protecting their rights. Believe it or not you are surrounded daily by gun owners. Chances are that you will encounter more than one member of the NRA just going about your daily business. Your doctor, dentist, mechanic, mailman or your child's teacher could be a member.

No, those aren't NECESSARILY the gun nuts. The gun nuts are not characterized by professions, you idiot, they are characterized by what they believe. Like what you believe. You are a gun nut.No matter your profession or CV or skin color or.... Like so many before you who feel brave because they "carry" or because they own an AR simply for the bragging rights and myriad of other personality quirks. Just look in the mirror, read what you write, YOU are a GUN NUT. You are to be pitied and watched.

Blaa Blaa Blaa. Heard it all before. I guess you forgot the last time they tried. Oklahoma FBI building ring a bell? That bloody nose put a stop to that didn't it? I have no urge to kill anyone ever again but don't mistake that that for a weakness or inability to if need be. I am on the reserved end of this, there are millions preparing daily for just that. You have no idea how many in this country see a war coming and are preparing for it. As far as using troops on U.S. soil against citizens that would he a tremendous mistake. Not only would it rally the undecided citizens but a civil war would make the U.S. vulnerable to attack from outside forces like China or North Korea who would love to see the U.S. weakened by an internal conflict. In case you missed it this is a very serious matter of concern to ALL citizens. It's not just you wanting to control someone else but the dangers of even starting to divide this country on such an issue so many believe so strongly in is dangerous. This is not just a matter of passing a law but being able to enforce it without severe consequences. It's not just the second amendment but attacking the Constitution in general. This is Pandora's box, once opened can't be closed easily. Are you willing to follow it through no matter how serious it becomes/

<quoted text>MORE GD lies. Will you ever stop? Try to read this, but I know you already know this.
From Heller (AGAIN)
"It may be objected that if weapons that are most useful
in military serviceóM-16 rifles and the likeómay be
banned, then the Second Amendment right is completely
detached from the prefatory clause. But as we have said,
the conception of the militia at the time of the Second
Amendmentís ratification was the body of all citizens
capable of military service, who would bring the sorts of
lawful weapons that they possessed at home to militia
duty. It may well be true today that a militia, to be as
effective as militias in the 18th century, would require
sophisticated arms that are highly unusual in society at
large. Indeed, it may be true that no amount of small
arms could be useful against modern-day bombers and tanks. But the fact that modern developments have limited the degree of fit between the prefatory clause and the protected right cannot change our interpretation of the right."
What of this statement don't you understand?
Fact is, you understand all of it and are just lying about it.
You are a big fat liar.
But you aren't trying to ban "sophisticated arms that are highly unusual in society at large", you're trying to ban semi-auto rifles which are quite common in society at large. You keep lying and then calling me a liar. Which, by the way, is also a lie.

It's kind of a slang way of saying it; you know--similar to, "you bring a whole new meaning to stupid." Slang. Not grammatically correct, but then, if you want to go there, you're going to lose that little battle. Your posts are overrun with grammatical errors.

You are a self delegated fool. You think you are brilliant and know what's best for others, yet most of the time you have no idea or experience in the subject you are claiming to be an expert at. Personally I don't care much for the AR. It's weak, has short range, and well known to be unreliable and pron to jamming. You miss the point, it's not about guns or owning them. It's about letting self appointed idiots like you control the rights of others. I and most Americans would feel just as strong if the subject was removing ANY other rights protected by the constitution. You really don't have a clue do you? Are you really willing to risk (no matter how small a chance) a conflict of extreme proportions between citizens and the government spilling out into the streets like the Oklahoma FBI building or much worse over removing the rights of otherwise law abiding citizens simply exercising their rights?

I consider myself a "rights nut". The issue is removal of rights and the right to "keep and bear" is simply the teeth that protects all others. Without it ALL other rights can be taken at the leisure of who ever is in power at any given time. To lose the right of citizens to be able to present a real and viable defense against any tyrant is just placing all rights and freedoms in jeopardy. This is FACT and has been proven over and over all through history. Those like you who are too stupid to acknowledge that, are fools and should be locked away for attempting to place this great nation in danger from your foolish inexperience. You are a control freak and should seek mental help from fearing inanimate objects and law abiding citizens.

Qualifying with those weapons don't really count as "combat" weapons. My daughter has "qualified" with as much. Not the 14, but with the 17 and she certainly wasn't "combat ready".
"And what militia do you currently belong to?"

Currently, the "unorganized militia" as defined in federal law, and served in the "standing army" for 12 years and the "organized militia" for 20 years.

FTR, as long as there are psychos who have the need to do it, there will be mass killings, guns or no guns. And until someone or something figures how to cure or coral the psychos before they do harm, they will continue to be at large and do their heinous acts. The best we can currently do is bury them if they kill themselves or get killed or bring them to justice AFTER they commit murder.
The same goes for the ordinary criminal or gangster or whatever.
That is my position now and that has always been my position. And I don't appreciate one damn bit your lying and mischaracterizing my position.
"You don't embellish, you outright lie."

Interesting...you using that word.

FTR...you left out the part of you "position" where you feel that "apporpriate legislation" would target poor and high crime areas...and blacks.

Just in case you missed it again, people from all walks of life and every profession are arming themselves in record numbers and it's not just so they can hand these weapons over to the first SS officer that comes along trying to take them. More people are willing to stand up to the government to protect their rights than you think. Go to ANY gun store and look at the shelves. The manufacturers can't make guns fast enough. Ammo makers are running 24 hour shifts and can't keep up. Do you really think ALL these people just plan to lay down and give in without a fight? If you believe that then you are a bigger fool than I think you are. IF it comes to that it will not be on some speck on a map halfway around the world but on the soil and streets where we live. It will not be some people you have never heard of before or could not care less about but in your own yard with people you know and probably some you care about. Resting and safely watching on TV will not be an option. You will not be able to keep your hands clean when it come to your door. Those who do not remember history are doomed to repeat it.
