Please do Not remove guns from law abiding citizens. If u do that then only the criminals will have them. Educate people on gun safety, storage and have stricter background check and screening for mental health and drug usage. Yes even raise flags for violent non felons. As far as the schools go... have armed certified officers on campus. And make entry into school areas more restricted to one entry in and out. It sucks to have to "lockdown" or to "close campus" all schools but its necessary to keep our children safe.
One other concern... this school safety subject should raise an eyebrow to u people opposed to drug testing teachers. All staff should be background checked and tested at time of hire and randomly thereafter. Keep our children safe. Think about it.

It's interesting to note that many (the majority?) of the most vocal anti-gun nuts have CCW's, themselves, or have armed security details.

Obama opposes gun ownership for the proletariat, but sends his daughters to Sidwell Friends, which has an ARMED Security Detail of eleven (while Obama opposes ANY armed Security in OUR children's schools). The Secret Service (armed) protects them during non-school hours.

Pelosi and Reid carry, as does Michael Moore. Mostr of the Hollywood elite that wants OUR gun Rights curtailed, have armed Security.

Google NRA gets one dollar for each purchase of a gun or ammo.

I am on a cell phone. Not friendly to linking.

The way we protect kids at school is the same way we protect the President, congresspeople, banks, malls, etc:

With armed adults.

Advertising schools to be "Gun Free Zones" only lets the crazies know that the people within are "sitting ducks".

Allowing teachers to be trained to carry if they choose, and providing armed guards if necessary, are what's needed to protect schools.

The mother of the Sandy Hook shooter was a gun-toting survivalist who home schooled.

Can't get much more "conservative."

I guess I was lying about the NRA and found out that home schoolers do better than public school victims.
Never mind. I was always told my feelings and emotions could negate facts and common sense.

But isn't it.....uh.........funny (for lack of a word you conservative non-thinkers would understand) that MOST of the crazy shooter uppers are on the "conservative" end of the spectrum?

You people are swallowing a bill of goods by the mega powerful and wealthy NRA propaganda machine that wants desperately to maintain that gigantic wealth and power.

The NRA preys on your naivete and gullibility.

My you are delusional aren't you? But then what can be expected of a coward?

BTW, some home schoolers "do better" but it depends on their teacher. Many home schooling parents are abysmal and their kids are no better educated than a New Mexico public school educated student.

You should check facts rather than just act on your baser instincts and emotion.

If you look at all the photos of these "RECENT" shooters they all appear to be on some sort of amphetamine type drugs.Look at their eyes.I personally believe someone may be behind these shootings and the folks with the right mental illness may have been chosen, for yet another false flag operation. But i know thats just cornspiracy talk. But it is questionable how fast they are resulting to extremes to turn it into just plain gun violence.Look how fast they came out with a demand a solution video from hollywierd. And the rebuttle video on utube someone made was awesome what hypocrits! And most of the super elites as they want to appear to be want our guns but then you find out later they ALL have guns.WAKE UP SHEEPLE.

How about a simple six foot fence with one way in one way out.And the opening right in front of the office where all can see who is coming in.Then the would be shooters might meet a little resistance.

"Chosen" by whom?

Do you conspiracy theorists realize how many people would have to be involved to carry it off?

You see the government as incompetent yet you believe it is capable of large scale conspiracies and to be able to be so efficient about them.

How about preventing wild eyed right-wing extremists from possessing guns? After all, they are the ones responsible for the majority of those shootings.

But what if the government only WANTS us to think it's incompetent, in order for them to move behind the scenes and really do their work without much resistance?

Just sayin'.

Maybe the people that want top take away the firearms.People who are pushing for one world gubbament maybe? They have pulled of several large scale cornspiracies already.Maybe the folks that control both the demon and repugnant parties.Look at history hitler covered up what he was doing for quite awhile. In case you havent noticed the news media has compartmentalised their coverage. One case I know for a fact in AZ janet napolitano wasnt prosecuting the drug smugglers unless they had over 498lbs.Made tuscon news and was presented like it was carried all over the nation. But i know for a fact very few people in the northern states ever even heard the story.Anyone in the government will tell you the best way to keep secrets is compartmentalization and need to know.WAKE up SHEEPLE.And OBAMA put her incharge of homeland security for gods sakes.
