Ok I ll give you.that different mix of ethnicities, density of population and maybe some other factor of stress all play a role in the huge difference in gun crime between the USA and Australia, but does that account for 15 times higher rates of shooting deaths.<quoted text> But it is your claim that the method of suicide was to blame (guns), not social factors for one country but then change those factors for another country. Which is it? Then again you group gun deaths to gun murders. You imply that a rapist with a knife confronting a victim with a gun that the gun death in self defense is unacceptable but the attacker with the knife killing the victim is somehow morally better. Once again you miss the higher population and denser living area leads to a higher chance of human confrontation. Two people living 20' apart are more likely to have a violent encounter than two people living 100 miles apart. You don't want to include the other variables other than guns but only when that backs your agenda. Make up your mind.
Not twice, not three times, 15... And these mass shootings, how many more are does it take? we havent had any in Australia because the laws are so strict on guns.
