What's your favorite handgun? I'm in law enforcement so we are forced to carry glocks mostly (unless we go through a ton of trouble to get our personal gun approved).

I've always been partial to Dirty Harrys 44 mag. Revolvers tend to jam less or be picky like autos. The digest light or heavy loads, any bullet design including wad cutters. They tend to be more accurate and in general handle hotter loads. If you get a click on a dud just keep pulling the trigger, one of those chambers will go bang. Go to a shooting range, almost everyone there who has shot autos will tell you they have at least once had an auto fail to feed or fire or extract ect. Very few will ever have a revolver fail. I can't count the times I've seen an auto shooter go click because the thought they had chambered a round but didn't. I explain at the range a simple mistake like that is OK but in a life or death situation "notify the next of kin".
