I have it on good authority that Obama said if he had a son it would be ... like that little feller that got his butt shot in Sanford.
You were saying?
I'm trying to understand your logic. Are you saying that Obama saying his son might look like Trayvon Martin means that calling a black man a boy isn't racist?

How about showing the rates when it's accident vs accident...instead of total gun death rates vs vehicle accident rates...?
When comparing deaths from accidents, its 7000 times more dangerous to go to the doctor than to own a gun.

Yeah, unless a method of death in children can at least crack the top 50, we should just ignore it.
The reason accidental gun deaths are at an all time low is because we HAVEN'T ignored it.

ASSISTED suicide is against the law.
Suicide is against the laws of God and man. Those who attempt it and fail are sent into rehabilitation. Those who attempt it and fail more than once and are confined to a mental institution. Those who attempt it and succeed can't be prosecuted so their families are penalized.

What will happen to the favorite statistic of the gun control lobby when "right to die" legislation is finally passed into law? According to statistics 6 out of every 10 gun deaths are suicides. That means that about 60% of the deaths you like to shout about will become a simple matter of personal choice. Suicide has always been a matter personal choice but the gun control lobby likes to lay blame on everyone who owns a gun.

And "how about" not comparing illegal guns to legal guns?

Wonder how you would fare if all gun owners felt that way about people like you? Gun owners are the ones with the guns after all. But then we both know that the overwhelming majority of gun owners are peaceful law abiding citizens who would come to your aid if need be not wish harm on you even though you're a cowardly POS who doesn't deserve their help. Good people are like that, you should be thankful.

Yes, whiney militant blacks have such chips on their shoulders that the word racist is just another crutch to help their pity party explain their uselessness and failures in life..........Just as Obama does blaming every failure on others..........

There are two kinds of racists. Those that just blatantly puke it right out there and those who try to hide it.

You are the first kind.

Why not? When you start comparing them incorrectly, YOU are the one using it to stack the deck in your favor.

The initial comment was talking about accidental deaths that out number gun accidental deaths. YOU rolled the total number of gun deaths to stack the numbers in your favor.

Exactly. More people are killed accidently by doctor's than by guns. And they are the ones that want us to tell them if we have guns in our homes or not. They can go pound sand.

Then maybe you would prefer to call it the US Health Care System...either way, it's more accidental deaths caused by the health care system than guns.

From your source;

Finding statistics that everybody agrees with regarding deaths caused by doctors is a little more difficult. Dr. J. Mercola released a book in 2000 titled Doctors are the Third Leading Cause of Death in the US, Causing 250,000 Deaths Every Year. His breakdown, however, largely focuses on errors in hospitals and includes 12,000 deaths by unnecessary surgery, 7,000 due to medication errors in hospitals, 20,000 due to other errors in hospitals, 80,000 from infections in hospitals, and 106,000 from the negative effects of medications.

There is of course, this to consider;

"...doctors are dealing with people who are sick in the first place, some of whom are at high risk for death or have gone through high risk medical procedures."

They just hurried it along...right?

Here's more reference to ponder along with the sources from the JAMA;

The U.S. health care system may contribute to poor health or death. According to Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, 250,000 deaths per year are caused by medical errors, making this the third-largest cause of death in the U.S., following heart disease and cancer.

That's new? I took that course 35 years ago. Why are accidental deaths just now going down.

And the fact of the matter is, only a small fraction of US citizens take hunter safety. There's no way it could have the impact you claim.

So - strike one.
