2. Obviously I am alive, so I have a 'life'
3. Not 2ndAmendment, don't have a registered account. But thanks for the free rent.
4. Never drew a penny of Govt. handouts in my life.
5. My mother is long dead.

Anything to say that is not childish, or that is actually factual?

BTW - not too many facts in your post. Mostly just hate.
FACT: Moot point, as it didn't happen that way.
FACT: Fact is the thug is 6' under and Z'Man is still walking free, as it should be.
FACT: All the crying and should of been don't mean a whit, nor will it change a thing.
FACT: Ya'll beating a 'dead horse' or dead thug in this case.

OPINION: Odds are though, Z'Man would have taken the gun from the thug and turned it on him, so the thug would still be 6'under.

Care to point out the non-factual statements?
How about the hateful statements?

I understand you perfectly, Dan.
You got your 6 hurt because I was correct when I pointed out your own hate filled rant.
So you want to turn my statement on me.

Good Luck, Dan.

You never drew a penny because you have drawn checks.

Glad to.

1. The point is very much open to debate so it isn't moot. That's simply your opinion.
2. Martin was not a thug - that is your hateful opinion. And him being dead is most definitely not how is should be - more of your hateful opinion.
3. Rational discussion of how to avoid needless tragedies such as this are most certainly meaningful. Your denial of that is hateful, ignorant, and OPINION.
4. Rational discussion of how to avoid needless tragedies such as this is useful and relevant. Your claim that is is not is your opinion. And Martin was not a thug. That is your hateful opinion.
5. Good to know that you recognize that this wildly baseless statement is opinion.

Hate and opinion - all of it.

You have never demonstrated a speck of understanding of me. The best you've done is project your irrational delusions of what you imagine I am onto me.

And for the record - you never pointed out any hate-filled rant of mine because no such thing exists. You are lying.

Care to try again? I'll be happy to keep educating your sorry self. LOL!

Opinions on your part, all.

So if some punk is trying to cave your skull in they are not a thug? You gonna blow kisses at him in hopes he will stop?

Martin was indeed a thug. What do you call someone trying to cave someone else's skull in?

Debate away, Dan.
It is moot, it won't change one thing, nor will it bring the thug back to life.

Now if you want to try to debate curbing future events, then you will be on to something.
All ya'll been doing here is arguing over the outcome, and facts of this case. Pointless.

My statement is no more baseless than someone stating Martin would have been able to shoot Z'Man.
Opinion on anybody's part as to what the outcome would have been.

Neither you, or anyone else in this thread, has attempted a 'rational' discussion on how to avoid these tragedies.

Thankfully, my educators were open minded and did not try to twist facts to fit some agenda.
You, Dan, will never be an educator. No matter what you believe.

Posting more opinions to justify your hateful opinions changes nothing. And repeating those same hateful opinions over and over won't make them facts.

Gee, thanks for that lesson, teacher Dan.
I need not justify anything to you, or your little Monkey, Dan.

So where have you attempted a:

"Rational discussion of how to avoid needless tragedies such as this?"

I will admit I missed that/those post(s)

I say factual, you say hateful. Tomato/tomato, Dan
I am pleased to see we have, you, the arbiter of hate here to educate us on what hate is though, Dan.

A GREAT SUGGESTION IN THE NY TIMES THIS MORNING - I WISH I HAD WRITTEN THIS:
I propose that people like me who deplore gun violence take our country back from the gun lovers. We can do that by using economic sanctions against states that allow the gun lobby to write the laws. How? By never moving to these states, by moving out of these states and by never vacationing in these states.
The gun lobby uses money to gets its way. It is time for decent people to use their money to defeat the gun lobby. We can do that one state at a time. If we can get most states to regulate guns vigorously, we will be able to regulate guns at the national level.

Take our country back to what?
This country was formed at the point of guns.
You want to go back to pre-BOR?
So we can bring back English rule?
If you are so hell bent on living under a dictator, you're in the wrong country.

The fact of the matter is, the anti gun folks are out numbered about 4 to 1. The anti gun folks out spend the pro gun folks by massive amounts and still lose by large margins.

The real question here is, what are the anti gun folks afraid of? From reading their comments it seems they are afraid of most every thing that has to do with firearms. I believe it is called hoplophobia.

BTW: Decency has nothing to do with it. There are millions of decent gun owners in this nation.

In NYS, I can't get more than a 30 day prescription for a mild pain killer for back pain. I have to get a paper script (no call ins) and I have to register the pharmacy that I intend to fill it at. This is due to juvenile abuse of prescription drugs. In NYSE the SAFE Act requires registration of guns every 2 years and background checks on ALL sales. Gun owners s in the state talk like they will secede from the union. Right to bear arms does not mean don't regulate access but that's how most gun owners interpret it
