Chief Kehoe claims that these semi auto firearms are war weapons. Why are most police officers equipped with these evil war weapons then? Who are the police at war with? The police are civilians just like the rest of our populace. Law abiding citizens are trying to protect themselves against the same evil and dangerous element of our society as the police are.

Cheif Kehoe is just another crook from Newtown. So why should anyone be surprised that he lies everywhere he goes? Wonder what his cut is from the "funds".

Good point.

Why do COPs need weapons of war?

And any ban on semi-auto rifles WILL eventually include: Winchester M100, Remington semi-auto 30.06, BAR, and other semi-auto hunting rifles.

The slippery slope has started for no reason.

Exactly right the slippery slope has indeed begun. The anti gun crowd has a very difficult time defining "assault Weapons." This is because assault weapons are capable of fully automatic fire, and have been heavily regulated since 1934. An AR15 is not an M-16 or M4. AR platforms operate just like Rem. 7400's or BAR's yet the gun hater try their best to make them some evil machine that they are not.

don't share your fetish. BFD

We know they are unnecessary, have nothing to do with constitutional rights and we see the result of those who enable them to be easily available to criminals and nutjobs.

You should read the Heller Decision from SCOTUS. Constitutional Rights have nothing to do with necessity. It is unnecessary that you write on these blogs, yet the 1st Amendment give you this Right. The simple answer is a pro-choice approach to firearms ownership. Nobody forces one to own a firearm, yet if one chooses to do so, it is their Right. What gives you the authority to tell anyone what they can or cannot own? It is all about Rights my friend, and it has nothing at all to do with need or your perception of what is necessary or unnecessary for anyone other than yourself.

That's funny: the gun safety people had no problem at all and the assault weapons are listed individually and by model numbers.

I know: you demand the right to carry them into public schools, cause the goberment is going to grab them any day now!

Like most rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose: For example, concealed weapons prohibitions have been upheld under the Amendment or state analogues. The Courtís opinion should not be taken to cast doubt on longstanding prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms.

Because you don't have the brains to lock them up, or worse, the brains to do a background check before you sell them to someone else.

You will and you do sell to strangers knowing that one in ten are felons.

And if the bullets stayed in your home, or at least: passed between your ears when you pulled the trigger, I don't think anyone would complain.

Sand Hook, dummy.

Despite a formal request from AbleChild, a Parentís Rights organization, citing numerous state and federal laws supporting the release of Adam Lanzaís toxicology results and medical records, Connecticut Medical Examiner, H. Wayne Carver, M.D., has arbitrarily denied the request.

The M.E.ís decision to withhold the information is at odds with Connecticut law, the Stateís Constitution, federal law and the United States Constitution. In response, AbleChild has filed an appeal with the Stateís Freedom of Information Commission (FOIC) for the release of the records and, if necessary, is prepared to take the case to the U.S. Supreme Court.

While state and federal legislators are pouring hundreds-of-millions of dollars into increased mental health treatment for school-age children, the question that has yet to be answered is what drove the alleged shooter, Adam Lanza, to become a killer. And, more to the point, one which can only be answered by the M.E., is whether Lanza, yet another in a long line of school shooters, was under the influence of psychiatric drugs.

Kids screwed up by psychiatric drugs shoot up schools. So the dumb ass government spends money on mental "health" to drug more kids.

Retards.

You don't know what 'arbitrarily' means, it seems.

Maybe it's those drugs you are taking?

[QUOTE who="Gun Control Does Not Work"certainly put you over the edge. But remember one thing....WE WON.[/QUOTE]

Americans lost.

Temporarily.

The ninety percent of Americans lost, the nine percent of Americans who are felons won, and so did the Congressmen that are on the NRA take- temporarily.

It will be brought up again.

And again, and again, if needed.

Because Americans are tired of the the whining of a tiny minority demanding special rights for their toys.

Aaahhhh did I upset the poor little liberal socialist troll ? Hey stupid, if 90% of the people wanted something it would have happened. These polls are demorat lies. The Senators voted "no" because that is what their constituents wanted.

Felons win everyday because you progressives refuse to lock them up in the name of bigger government and of course more demorat votes.

Don't blame the NRA, it is toilet scum like you that is responsible for the violence that plagues the US. Oh, BTW it is off to the NRA convention for me. See ya!!!

No, my little NAZI, not in the USA where the minority party can lock up the Senate with a filibuster.

Next time a history teacher visits your stall, ask him how that happens.

More people are in prison today than ever before, in actual fact, Jizzmcheeks.

I know, it cuts down on your gun sales to have so many of your customers locked up.
