If gun owners were as bad as you claim, you would be dead, long ago.

Unless you ARE living in North Korea.

I guess according to your point of view violence is the expected response to everything. That is the result of gun nut extremists promoting proliferation and paranoia.

When we were kids, everybody understood that you used a shotgun to shoot rabbits in the desert and a 22 to plink cans and pop bottles, but you didn't bring weapons to town. Nobody was running around with military weapons just because they could. The first time I saw heavy hardware on the street was when I visited fascist Spain during the Franco era. When people here were dissatisfied with the government, the war or the speed of progress on civil rights, 99% of them were nonviolent. Today's discontents seem to want to destroy our institutions and threaten violence.

Sick. Especially the guy that tried to drag MLK into his gutter.

Doctor King is already with me. He was both a gun owner (he owned several longarms and handguns) and he even applied for a concealed carry permit. Which was, ironically, denied.

In today's America, thanks to a waning gun control movement, Doctor King would have received his carry permit and would have had the option of defending himself
