Yes gun control advocates have a voice under 1st Amend, but at what point is it an assault on the American people and the Constitution.
In counties throughout America if you threaten or
SCARE(keyword) another You can be arrested for
threatening harassment so why not keep articles/videos of the assault and have a warrant put out for them, legally.
Waiting for the US Supreme court to save us will
only lead to more rulings in favor of things like warrantless wire taps, Patriot Act, full judicial immunities. Loss of Due Process to file suits against corporations(forced arbitration). Unlimited
$contributions to politicians and judges

The tyrants are the ones trying to destroy our Constitution by abolishing the 2 Amendment.

or was allowed to have CCW on them but the Modern Pseudo Liberals say not and want people to live in fear but if you have noticed all the states that have made the News Lately for gun violence are mostly your Modern Pseudo Liberal States and besides Connecticut is one the states that require background checks at Gun Shows along with California, Hawaii, Oregon, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

Known as the "gun show loophole," most states do not require background checks for private firearms purchases at gun shows. Federal law only requires licensed dealers to do background checks at gun shows.

Ever wonder out of whose woodwork these cockroaches crawl ? Where were these families before ? Seems tragedy or a TV version of tragedy happens THEN they get involved POLITICALLY . They could be more like Obama and get Communities organized instead of More government babysitting If the School funds were better applied there could be volunteer retired police in every school in the country . All it takes is to redraw Union Teachers and police contracts . If the cops want free insurance for life , give something back . You not need risk your life but you can donate a part of your retirement to helping children be safe . Are you saying the police would REFUSE to volunteer for this ? I say let us ask them . Real shit people . Put this out there . What ex-cop wouldn't volunteer to protect children ? Or is this what the 30,000 drones are for ? Thinkoutsidethefox .

Would you stick your loaded handgun in the back of a young man setting down a backpack on the curb of a street where marathon runners are passing by ?

Or does that sound like a bad idea to you ?

What if you were the school principal of Sandy Hook, would you want a handgun to shoot Lanza if you saw him with an AR-15 in the school ? Would shooting him be a bad idea ?

"And to your point, Mr. Baker, regarding the lack of prosecutions on lying on Form 4473s, we simply don't have the time or manpower to prosecute everybody who lies on a form, that checks a wrong box, that answers a question inaccurately," said Joe-it's-safer-to-shoot-a-shot gun-over-someone's-head-than-t o-defend-your-life-with-it-Bid en. BTW, lying on a 4473 is a felony, which (if convicted) will prevent that person from from ever legally owning a gun.
So, while we don't enforce existing laws, we need to make MORE laws that, what? Won't be enforced either? It's this sort of political nonsense that prevents a positive resolution to this issue.

........ For the first, I think tackling him, getting some help to keep him and get out of there while telling people he just set down a bomb would be a better idea. But how would you know he had a bomb to start with? I think if anyone knew, something would have been done. And yes, when right after asking what he's doing, as he drops the muzzle to aim, bet your a$$ I would draw and fire. What would you do?

..........I'm hoping the circus ends soon and Congress and Senate actually address the gun violence issue, by creating or beefing up laws against those who illegally use guns for violence against others. Maybe they will have an attack or creation of conscience and become honest. Maybe they will make environmental laws that protect the environment instead of the polluters. Maybe pigs will fly. I've seen a horsefly but never an elephantfly:)

Lets see now. Mentally disturbed people wanting media fame pick gun free zones full of unarmed people to shoot up (colleges, schools, the theater: all designated gun free zones). Now we already know that guns deter evil: airplane hijacking ceased when pilots started carrying pistols and bus robberies mostly stopped when New Haven bus drivers started carrying pistols, and bank robberies skyrocketed when banks changed to a gun free model. So the new solution: keep schools as gun free zones, tell kids to hide from evil in closets, go after the law abiding public, and reward the evil perps with an orgy of publicity? Anyone else see the total deficiency of intelligence here?

There is no reason for the House or Senate to address the " gun violence ".

Every single state in the union has laws against violence.

If our elected federal leaders want to do something positive they should repeal federal laws on drug users ,not dealers , that locks up non violent offenders .

This is a waste of money , resources and space.

Let cops , prosecutors and judges spend their time and money on violent crime and lets give them the jail space without building more prisons.

Actually the Law was changed in July 2001 , the same month that the WTC were transferred to private control , The airline pilots were no longer allowed to carry a gun . Coincidence or preplanning ?

just confirmed, CNN, associated press, & FOX News, the boston bomb suspect (and the dead other half)are members of the American Family Association. this is a suspected terror organization under FBI investigation. FBI urges the public not to donate any more funds until the investigation is complete. they also hate abortion doctors & unwed young women with children on welfare. they also want to decide what a woman can or cannot do with her body, they have no business up inside a woman's vagina having an abortion, they want the government up in there also. bunch of perverbs and terrorist. they dont want abortions, but they call young unwed women with children little whores. lets stop this group before they get out of hand. they also take your money and sleep with your child at youth camps. these people should already be behind bars. also the NRA are terrorist.
