Fact check:
False.
Over 2 million people have been stopped from buying guns due to the Brady Bill.
Prove it.
What happens to people who don't pass the background check because it is illegal for them to have a gun? NOTHING.

Sorry - I stopped reading after the racist first sentence.
Get back to me when you can refrain from racist remarks.
Are there African Americans in Ghettos?

Do SOME African Americans in the Ghettos sell illegal drugs?

Bullshit!

ALL that happened is that those people were not allowed to LEGALLY purchase AT THAT POINT OF SALE.

Your claim that 2 million people were stopped from buying guns is downright laughable Dan.

There is no law ever written that stops unlawful acts.

Self protection and preservation is an innate and natural born instintual urge and therefore it is called an unalienable right. It is in the realm of 'Natural Law', and therefore is immune to the legislation of man.
You have no authority whatsoever to determine how any person can go about defending themselves from untoward acts of others. And yes Danny, that also includes the right to determine for ourselves how we will defend life, limb, and property, and what tool or tools we will employ in that defense.

Stop being an idiot Dan. Prosecute criminals for criminal acts and leave our "things" alone.

Even if it's 1 million instead of 2 million - the point still stands: laws stop people from buying guns. Claiming otherwise is not only false, it's just silly.
There is only one way for your messed up uh,'point' to be valid, and that is for you to rewrite it by adding "at that particular point of sale" to your claim.
It is truly ONLY at that one particular point of sale where a sale was not made.

Where is your evidence that those turned down stopped attempting to buy at other points of sale?
You have none. There is none.

Thank you.
Laws stop people from buying guns.
Incorrect.
They only stop one purchase attempt.

Where is your proof that other attempts by the same people are/were not made?

How do you propose to implement a background check covering a back alley or front room sale?

It has stopped some people from using them. Fewer people use illegal drugs because they are illegal. This is established fact.

They have reduced violent crime.
<quoted text>
But laws do stop some number of people - Brady has stopped over 2 million. Saying that laws don't stop people from buying guns is simply false.
If those drug laws are really working and your claim is valid ... then why is illegal drug use on the rise Danny?

The point concerning Chicago Danny, is YOUR point from your first post on this site ... >YOU< have repeatedly stated that the goal of gun control laws is to reduce gun deaths ... not reduce violent crime.
The facts verify that the gun restriction laws in Chicago have neither curbed gun deaths nor violent crime. You lie.

Those background checks you tout, ONLY stop ONE attempt at a LEGAL purchase.
Your background check laws only serve to strengthen the black market and do not have any measurable effect on gun purchase.

If those laws are stopping folks from buying guns, then why are gun sales STILL at record levels?

Stop being an idiot Dan. The facts stand in direct opposition to your claims son.

He has more than one alias here to be sure.
It is fascinating that fools like him can not even read the headline for this particular thread and understand that carrying a weapon in no way means that it will be used illegally, and that owning one will lead to death.
Obviously, more concealed carry permit holders did not and will not equate to more gun deaths .. it is the exact opposite.

Liberals like him know the truth if they aren't brainwashed from watching the "news". Its detrimental to their agenda to admit it. I argued with him about the fact that more guns equal less crime. In the last five years the amount of guns owned by Americans has increased more than any time in our history. But violent crime is still decreasing. Imagine that.

The law didnít stop anyone from getting a gun it only slowed them down a little. BTW were any of those people punished for attempting to buy a weapon? Another useless law if it isnít enforced.
