MARKSMANSHIP FOR BOYS AND GIRLS

Every child, male and female should, be taught the use of firearms and it should also be taught in the schools, for there comes a time in the life of of everyone when it would stand them in good need. In the South women are often left alone on the plantations while the men are absent, and where it is known they are thoroughly acquainted with the use of firearms they are never molested.

During the civil war two of my cousins, Miss Jimmie Hardin and Miss Lizzie Hardin were banished from Kentucky by the Federal authorities. They were escorted by six soldiers. Reaching the mountains ot Tennessee the two ladies drew pistols and caught the caught the two guards unaware. The men made no resistance, saying they did not want to harm women. The two women marched off with the revolvers cocked, made their way through an unknown country and finally reached the Confederacy unaided. Both were expert shots and felt capable of caring for themselves under any circumstances, the knowledge of firearms giving them this confidence.

Roosevelt left New York to organize the Rough Riders because the men selected, the Westerners, were everyone a crack shot. If marksmanship be taught in the schools, in case of war you can organize an army in half the time. If women can shoot they can say to the men "Go to the front; we can take care of the home."--Philadelphia North American.

Are Liberals Bigger Drug Users?

>>>“A study published in the American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse found that among heavy drug users, the ratio of Democrats to Republicans was more than 8-to-1.”<<<

“Academic studies have found that those on the political left are five times more likely to use marijuana and cocaine ... Another survey found that Democrats were five times more likely to use marijuana than Republicans ...

“A study published in the American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse found that among heavy drug users, the ratio of Democrats to Republicans was more than 8-to-1.”

Yet another survey found a “direct and linear relationship” between liberalism and the use of any illicit drug.

Schweizer, whose other books include “Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy,” observes:“The liberal search for autonomy and the credo ‘if it feels good do it’ have a strong influence on who uses drugs and why. Many liberals denounce drug use as a danger while at the same time engaging in a wink-wink attitude towards its actual use.”

Drawing on extensive attitude surveys, Schweizer also details in his book how liberals are more motivated by money than are conservatives, are angrier than conservatives, give less to charity, and are more likely to believe in ghosts, ESP, and reincarnation.

Sympathy for molesters: Colorado Democrats kill Jessica’s Law
February 26th, 2013

Passing Jessica's Law in Colorado should be a no-brainer. Democrats however killed the bill and are apparently more worried about protecting child molesters than their victims.

Protecting the absolute most vulnerable among us should be the highest priority of all citizens no matter their political stripes. Sadly Colorado Democrats chose to side with predators and molesters instead of children and once again killed Jessica’s Law....

Actual rapist is a Republican.

The former head of the Republican Party in Montgomery County, who resigned from his post earlier this month amid sexual assault accusations, has been charged with rape and assault.

Robert J. Kerns faces 19 charges including counts of rape of an unconscious victim, sexual assault, indecent assault and simple assault, according to court documents filed on Tuesday.

Three of the charges are related to drugs -- possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver and rape of a substantially impaired person.

The 66-year-old attorney allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old woman, who worked part-time at his law firm, following an after-work party on Oct. 25 at a restaurant in Blue Bell, Pa., according to court documents.

The woman was unable to drive home from the party, so Kerns offered to drop her off at the King of Prussia Mall, while he attended a political event, court documents state. He said he'd pick her back up afterwards and by then she should be sober enough to drive.

However, prosecutors say that plan was never carried out. According to court documents, Kerns bought a $68 bottle of Chardonnay before leaving the bar. The victim told officials she remembered drinking the wine in the car before passing out.

Kerns allegedly drove the woman to her home, brought her inside and then raped her, the criminal complaint says.

Prosecutors say he drugged the woman with the sleeping pill Ambien and then sexually assaulted her multiple times.
