Two days following Colorado's recall election weren't enough to cool the emotions of one of the two Democratic state senators voters rejected because of their anti-Second Amendment position. Full Story

Yes I can explain that. MONEY! As soon as we start pouring money on the congressional axxholes they will start acting sensibly about gun control.
I get tired of having to explain everything to gun nuts.
I'm not real sure about that. Look at the money Bloomberg spent in this recall. The "gun nuts" you abhor didn't spend near as much as the anti-gun advocates.

You "try" to explain, your side of things, but in this case your explanation is flawed.

He was a liberal according to the standards of his day but he would be considered an arch-conservative by society today. By the standards of his day Andrew Jackson was a liberal too.

"Background checks don't impede anyones rights?" Ok... Lets mandate background checks prior to voting. Felons are not allowed to vote so passing a background check before you cast a ballot does not interfere with the right to vote either, right?

You are actually right which begs the question do we need to eliminate guns from society entirely? Had I lost a loved one in one of the crazy killings that would certainly be my solution. The framers did not envision a Wayne La Phew-air or they would have never added the 2nd Amendment.
The second ammendment was passed to allow Americans to resist tyranical government. It was legal for a private citizen to own any weapon the military could own at that time. If the framers of the constitution could see our society today they would have barred anyone who contributes nothing to society from voting. The second ammendment would still have passed.

Let's do that one even better. Let's implement background checks, fingerprinting, and a $50 fee to be paid just like I had to do to get my concealed handgun permit.

So according to you multi-shot handguns and assault rifles would be banned.

Please point out where single-shot muskets are specifically mentioned in the 2nd Amendment.

Sorry Skippy but people are getting pretty fed up with your and the NRA's anti-Americanism so it's going to happen sooner than you think. I guess you are the price we pay if you are really a veteran. Some people just can't get past that part of their life that was most important to them and it defines them regardless of its unworthiness. Nothing better to identify with I suppose. It is really kind of sad and makes me wonder if I am doing the wrong thing in belittling you so much.

Still in denial of what is going on around you. I bet you think trying to turn this country into some kind of Socialist utopia is "Americanism" huh? LMAO!!!

And yet more ad hominem attacks when you can't refute what's been posted. If anything, you are extremely predictable.....and clueless. But that's just par for the course for you libtards.

Oh, and just in case you haven't noticed, private gun onership in this country has gone up over 40% in the last ten years alone. So good luck in your quest, Don Quixote.

Gullible? What it does is disprove the left's constant lying that more guns equals more gun crimes. Because as the gun ownership rate has skyrocketed, the overall violent crime rate and murder rate has DROPPED during the same time frame.

Thanks for playing.

I'm not against private gun ownership. I'm against handguns, assault rifles and the NRA. I don't like hearing about gun nuts shooting innocent children and people. Gun ownership has not gone up 40% in the last ten years. You have got to stop munching on Wayne La Phew-air's non gun factoid turds. I think you must be eating your own shít as well since it is spilling out of your central orifice.

In a way you are really a sad person who seems to enjoy self humiliation.
