Why are you libturds so violent?? Maybe you should seek some professional help before you go off and shoot up a school or something.
I'm not a violent rightie, just offering you a recommendation. I hardly need to say anything, that's all most of you USE guns for apart from occasionally blowing away your wives or girlfriends.

Not an accusation, just a fact...:)

Still waiting for that gun control vote. I thought it was a done deal. Thank God for the Bill of Rights. They won't be repealing the 2nd amendment any time soon.

Why keep asking stupid questions? Do I pass gun laws? Am I the Congress? Am I a goddamn obstructionist Republican?

You're just gleeful you'll get to see more mass shootings, proof that you still have your "freedom."

F-- off...

Not that Obamacare has anything to do with the gun debate, but cite the aforementioned section if you can. Let's see it.

You're a liar on many counts.

I'm no kind of "control freak," that better characterizes you gunners, who think that your weapons give you "control" over your little world.

I've never called for the Nat'l Guard to gun down innocent civilians...that's a sick, twisted lie.

I can't pass laws for myself, no...sorry, neither can you, punk.

You can spew insults from here to next Thursday, coward, but you can't make them stick or yourself sound adult or intelligent. you just can't. Sorry!:)

or these reasons, the following language did, indeed, become a part of the nation’s controversial health care reform law: How's that for defending the 2nd amendment?

(c) PROTECTION OF SECOND AMENDMENT GUN RIGHTS.—

‘‘(1) WELLNESS AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS.— A wellness and health promotion activity implemented under subsection (a)(1)(D) may not require the disclosure or collection of any information relating to—

‘‘(A) the presence or storage of a lawfully- possessed firearm or ammunition in the residence or on the property of an individual; or

‘‘(B) the lawful use, possession, or storage of a firearm or ammunition by an individual.
‘‘

(2) LIMITATION ON DATA COLLECTION.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used for the collection of any in- formation relating to—

‘‘(A) the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition;

‘‘(B) the lawful use of a firearm or ammunition; or

‘‘(C) the lawful storage of a firearm or ammunition.

‘‘(3) LIMITATION ON DATABASES OR DATA BANKS.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used to maintain records of individual ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition. I'm at a loss...what's this even about? OK, you've finally supplied the information I asked you for...there are gun information provisions in the Obamacare bill. Granted.

So what? What's your point, if there is one?

My guess is that some pro-gun type put it in there and a lot of people didn't read it or didn't care - probably because they're afraid of the goddamn NRA.

It's irresponsible and shouldn't be in the bill, but again...what's your point?

This was your post, I guess...it's dishonest, because the provisinos you cited DON'T DO THESE THINGS. They in fact merely prevent information about gun ownership being gathered from patients or the insured.

"How about" it? What's your point?

The point being that this was a small section of the gift to the NRA and all gun owners, more provisions followed. Read it and weep.
