Yes, it feels good to know the politicians will respond to their constituents on something as important as the 2nd Amendment to the Bill of rights. They know who has the votes, and it is the NRA. Of course it is good to see them follow the Constitution. They will never get a constitutional amendment changing the 2nd amendment. and they know it.
I'm sure it'll feel even better when the next massacre occurs, and you know that someone formed a one-man well-regulated militia to rid the nation of some dangerous mall kids, schoolchildren, or theatergoers.

Hell, you might even get another member of Congress - with any luck, a Democrat! That'd really soil your trousers, wouldn't it?

Were you cave-diving, or did you just have your head buried in the sand as usual? Or in your arse, perhaps?
Yes, a totally disarmed populace would be a very much SAFER populace. Even an idiot like you ought to see that, although I'm sure you won't being the gun-worshipper you are.
Safer for whom? Sandy hook was less of a gun massacre and more of a mental case attack. You libturds are the reason nuts like Lanza are running around loose. "It's wrong to pen up the mentally unsound, it infringes on their rights to pursuit of happiness. To exploit them is WRONG" BOO HOO! So crackpot libturds medicate them and hope for the best. Bloody hell, get a clue!

I am sure you don't really believe gun control is about little school children. If you cared about the children you would begin picking up the crazy people who pull the triggers. But you cannot do that because they all vote Democrat so they can keep their freebies. You will never disarm this country, nor will you make it impossible for us to protect ourselves from a radical government. So dream on.

You're aware, of course, that most countries allow citizens to own arms? The only difference between the U.S. and many other countries is that our citizens are more easily availed of the ability to carry those arms outside their homes.
I'm sure that you're also aware, being that you don't have your head buried in the sand, the Adam Lanza, like Klebold and Harris (Columbine) wanted infamy (Thank goodness that those two wired the bombs no one ever talks about any more incorrectly, or an estimated 600 people would have died), and that Lanza chose a school specifically because it was a "gun free zone", so that he could top the number of fatalities inflicted by the guy in Norway?(79 fatalities)
And that in countries where people are totally disarmed, they use blades to attack school children instead? Incendiary devices are quite popular, as well.
It's not the guns, it's warped sicko's, and all the laws in the world don't stop them or make school children any safer.

How about the shooting on the military bases recently. Yep, safety survives when only the military and police have weapons. LOLOLOL.

More proof that guns kill, certainly. Would armed civilians on the base have saved the day?

Of course not. They seldom if EVER have, no matter what the babbling NRA spokescreatures say.

Listen to your idiotic, child-hating self for a second, imbecile.

"..you would begin picking up the crazy people who PULL THE TRIGGERS."

IOW, we would arrest those who've already murdered the children (or adults, whomever).

Do you see how f---ing stupid that is?

I'm not sure we should disarm this country. Maybe just let it kill itself off. People like you make me think that might work better than prevention.

Yes...like mental patients, the disturbed, the angry and resentful, the violent, those seeking notoriety...those with a grudge against that very society.

They KILL PEOPLE.

The problem here is that YOU don't seem to be aware that a plethora of guns MAKES THAT KILLING EASIER.

Dumbass.

How exactly does an inanimate object kill? Oh, yeah viruses have killed upwards of 105 children this year in the US alone, outlaw those deadly viruses. You are a hoot!

An armed guard (not military) is the one who stopped Hasan and limited the body count to what it was. It proved once again why mass murderers choose gun-free zones (which this was) to carry out their shooting gallery rampage. Maximum damage inflicted with the least amount of resistance....for a little while.

My nephew was in that same building just two hours before this shooting took place.

We have the guns to protect our liberty, not our security. Look around, do you trust the people in charge of your liberty to honor the Constitution? No. They are interpreting the constitution by their own standards. They have no understanding of what the founders meant when they wrote it. They don't like it, and they seem to act like the Royalty we were never supposed to employ.

Even a moron like you should be able to read that the 2nd amendment was all about "security" - that is, forming militias to protect the public from foreign invasion, hostile Indians, and public insurrections such as the Whiskey Rebellion.

Nothing whatever to do with protecting us from our own government. That's pretty much a Rightie invention.

BS, How much of the Federalist Papers have you read? The reason for the Second Amendment is to protect the First. Also to protect from the Government. Thank goodness we don't answer to you, or take what you say at face value...

Not the entire base, you f-ing moron. But that processing center was. The only people allowed to carry there were base police. The soldiers are NOT armed 24-7 while on post, idiot. Spout off some more shit about stuff you don't know. It is quite comical.

I'm sorry, but why did we fight the Revolutionary War??? Oh yeah, to throw out the tyrannical government that was controlling us through non-represented taxation, and then tried to disarm us in Lexington and Concord. You need to go take a remedial history class, moron.
