A civilization cannot function when guns run amok. Hate and sickness are a communal failure. We find our communal soul together and we change. Our world is the same. We are a cosmic painful joke may hap but We progress. We change for the better. We find the way. Reason may find and we shall follow the godlike. Science not hate is our friend. Stu

The world is one place. To be Australian or American is ok. Let's make the world one through education and a lack of gunshot wounds. Stu we could grow up and stop fearing each other. That would be a start.

The measure of consciousness lies in the capacity to see and change for the better. To protect is not to create. One is a cunning, the other is the light. All of us seek the light the true the make that explains the kiss the follow and the word that leads. We are the children of God. Logos. Stuart Cudahy

Perhaps it is YOU who should change to comprehend that blaming an inanimate object for the acts committed with it is illogical in the extreme.

You appear to want to blame water because it is involved in drowning, and automobiles because they are involved in crashes.

Well, why not blame money for people going into debt?

And food for people getting fat?

You ought quit playing the 'blame game,' and get a life.

The infinite the taking. This consciousness. This mind says we are the children of child. This kiss, the hope that creates. It's not enough to hear a response. Speak. Hear an echo rapidly receding. I pursue the or not. Cro magnon, homo Erectus, hominid.civilization is a construct.we are a construct. Stu

Great idea. Only one problem. Human nature. We are animals and as such have primal urges. While we do live together and share the same space but our DNA still contains the hunter killer instinct. While many of us agree a peaceful coexistence would be nice many do not. The predator in us still exists. There are those that have no urge or desire to peacefully coexist. There will always be war due to our nature. There will always be someone who wants what someone else has and is willing to harm to get it. There will always be some reason to be territorial and the urge to have conflict with those who look, think or act different.

The fact you are on here trying to change others shows this is true. You believe anyone with different ideals is wrong. While your intention may not be nonviolent it is still seen as arrogant and an attempt to force your will on others who have no intention of changing what they believe is correct for them.

To be armed is prudent to defend against the beast in us all by those who refuse to control their DNA.

Keep dreaming the impossible dream but live in reality. Somewhere tonight predators are stalking and you may be the next victim.

A civilization cannot function without a means to defend itself from those that would do it harm or try to eliminate it. Nowhere on this planet has a civilization ever remained without being able to defend itself.

Man is the most violent creature that ever existed. What other creature on this planet kills for malice or greed??? And you think you can change that? Good luck. I'll stay armed "just in case".

Moving the goalposts again.
Incorrect.
Malice and revenge have been observed in each of several animal kingdom species. The animal kingdom is well known for having good memories and malicious behavior toward those critters of the same species or other species with which they have had "bad blood" in the past.
Then there are those individuals in various species of the animal kingdom which are just plain ole crazy or mean toward others as a "normal" behavior pattern, and can be easily described as "malice".
Try again kid..

When an adult grizzly bear male kills a cub or cubs, so the cub's mother will come back in heat, would that be malice or greed? Would it be for survival?
