Apparently. I just saw a post on another thread with a link to a politician basically stating such.

The second amendment is the only one with the wording, "shall not be infringed".

I'll have to scroll back through the threads. I think it was Fed Up that posted it, and I know the politician was female. I'll let you know if I find it again.

Thanks - now lets see if Congress can get the papers they requested a year ago or if there will be another executive order.

true, unfortunately. The gerrymandered districts make it really tough. Very bad for the nation since the republicans have mostly sold their vote for life to Norquist. At some point the moderate republicans in those district will have to take back their party from the regressives or just wait out the demographic change.

And they are not behind gun control.
In fact this is way down the list of American's concerns and appears to be distracting form their tops concerns.
He just doesn't understand that criminals won't obey these laws. Hasn't he been keeping up with what's going on in his toddling town, chicago???? That ought to tell him that the problem goes deeper than just the freaking guns.

BS he put those kids up there for ATTENTION and hoping more of his Dems will vote this in for him. Obama is not smart enough to attack the problem - THE PROBLEM IS WITH MENTAL PATIENTS HAVE ACCESS TO GUNS. Tell me when was the last time you seen a gun jump up from a table, all by itself, and shoot some one. GUNS DO NOT KILL - PEOPLE KILL.
Using your logic - the next to go will be cars - there are more deaths from cars than guns.
Adolph Hitler also had photo-ops surrounding himself with children.

Both articles kind of go on the theory, that because democrats did'nt win the past election by a bigger margin, well then 2014 is POSSIBLY A PIPEDREAM....questionable logic, it would seem.....BTW, your views must be a rarity in Boca?

Since 1,236 children died from drowning in 2000 maybe we should ban swimming pools. There would be no constitutional issues with that, no one really needs them and it would be far more effective saving children's lives. Maybe even more than just one life like Obama would be happy with.
Why would you presume, President Obama is concerned with one life? What's that about? You're welcome to put this specifically on this President, and that's fine....but, we should agree, whomever was at that position, during this incident would be expected to pass a bill on trying to curb the source?

- does it remind you that while you morons are talking about Hitler and an imaginary civil war against the rest of us, that little children died because of easy access to extreme firepower and that it was a gun nut/survivalist who enabled this kid?
