That is nothing more than an assumption. The actual fact is that underdogs can and have risen up in America. Case in point; the republican party. The republican party came into being in 1856.

"By 1858 in the North it had enlisted former Whigs and former Free Soil Democrats to form majorities in nearly every Northern state.

"With its election of Abraham Lincoln in 1860, and its success in guiding the Union to victory and abolishing slavery, it came to dominate the national political scene until 1932...."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_U...

BOTH the demonrats and the repukagain party are in dire straights. Their tyrannical usurpations have been discovered by We The People. And there is now more distrust in our governments than EVER before.

The 2014-16 elections are going to see a FLUSHING of the treasonous minions that have destroyed our once great nation. And, THAT is what they are afraid of. And why they are attacking the Tea Party with such ferociousness. They realize their perverse days are numbered. That America is waking up. And that there is NOTHING they can do about it.

No, I specifically instructed your mother to stay aware from my nether region. Explained to her that it would be cruel to bring another living abortion such as yourself into this world. Amazingly enough, she understood perfectly. Last time I saw her, she was on her way back to Tijuana. She had stated something about a donkey show she had to get back to.[Which helped me to understand how you came about having those long hairy ears of yours]...

What makes you think the election is going to be fair? The liberals have stealing elections down pat. Who do you think backs these libertarian candidates anyway? The dems knows there are enough brainless idiots out there who don't seem to realize that voting for a libertarian is voting for a democrat. I may be wrong but I doubt Cuccinelli is going to win even if Ron Paul (the libertarian's god) is campaigning for him.

Because 80% of Americans are totally disgusted with our government. Including many of those that work within the government itself, even among the military. History proves that that kind of hatred cannot be set aside by smoke and mirrors. Any treachery can very well result in a LOT of hemp rope being used to string up the perpetrators of it. And history is a very good teacher indeed.

Here, compare THIS:
Ninety percent of Americans support universal background checks.
Eighty percent of American gun owners support universal background checks
Seventy four percent of NRA members support universal background check
Fifty Five percent of licensed gun dealers support universal background checks.

It seems the only people who don't are the mentally ill and the felons.

100 percent of your numbers are wrong.

Becauseb you cannot open you mouth without lying.

But we know that- even as you rotate your aliases because YOU ARE TOO EMBARASSED TO STAND BEHIND ONE OF THEM.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAH!

PS: Phoenix Phairy... the 80 percent number you are thinking of is: only 22 percent of Americans approve of the Republican party.

That was Friday.

That is a real number that anyone and every can look up.

It is the lowest number ever recorded for any major party.

Every.

Maybe if you left the party, the numbers would go up, Chubby?

If you knew Joe Biden as we do here in Delaware, his home state, then you would know his support of McAuliffe is not credible.

Poor, poor, sad, pathetic sycophant troll. The ACTUAL FACTS declare something quite differently:

Americans undergo stunning gun control shift, new poll finds
Monday, October 28, 2013

The call for stricter gun control has waned since the Newtown, Conn., school shooting at the end of 2012, a Gallup poll released Friday found.

In the days following the school shooting, which killed 20 children and six staff members, 58 percent of those polled wanted stricter gun control. Now, almost a year after the December shooting, that number has dropped to 49 percent.

SPECIAL COVERAGE: Second Amendment and Gun Control

The drop also means the country now is split nearly evenly on whether gun control laws need to be stricter. On the other side of the 49 percent who want stricter laws, 50 percent want laws to either be less strict or kept the same.

The poll also found that 74 percent of respondents are opposed to a law that would ban handguns, except for use by police and other law enforcement. Only about a quarter think the use of handguns should be limited only to authorized personnel.
