Since we're counting numbers, allow me to update your earlier numbers of our soldiers killed during Bush's invasion of Iraq.
The number killed was over 4,500. Our wounded numbered over 32,000.
In any case, even if more lives were lost in Cambodia and Vietnam, does that forgive all the death and disfigurement in Bush's needless invasion of Iraq?
I wonder how many wars could be avoided if government leaders had to be on the front lines. And please resist any comment about Obama's pitching, bowling, or skeet shooting skills.
I was agin it too, but that didn't keep hundreds of thousands of teenagers from being drafted agin their will. At least the current soldiers volunteer to serve and protect, and don't run off to Canada after burning their draft card. And don't give Bush all the credit, he wuz provoked.

my guess is, you are a retired union worker from up north, who moved to Florida for the warm weather and the early bird special, and you drive your Buick in the left lane for miles, at 35 MPH with the left blinker on the whole time, and you dress in a madras shirt, striped shorts, white patent leather belt, black knee length socks, and sandals. How close?
As I sit here LMAO, I can't help but think how close to the truth that statement is? Although she is might be in a skort and wearing a babuska.....

I don't blame kids for runnin' off to Canada when they oppose their country's politicians' plans to make hamburger out of them.
Many of our current soldiers volunteer, not because of any noble intent, but because they can't find another job.
They could not have realized thelife-altering consequences of battle, both physical and mental. Their suicide rate continues to increase.
War is more about death than heroism, and when there is no reasonable justification for a war, it is an unacceptable and cruel travesty.

I assure you, credit is far from what I would want to give Bush.

They're both Repubs, why not. The guy you voted for spent his time during the war sucking up bordeaux and eating quiche. Sending people off to wars they are afraid to fight is part of the teabag DNA.

The Viet Nam War began with Eisenhower, as continued by Kennedy, then escalated by Johnson in the hope of bringing this disaster to a quick end, then inherited by Nixon. It should have been stopped in its tracks, and I blame everyone who prolonged it.

The only pass I would give to Cheney and the Bushpuppet would be to a blowout sale at a tire store.

Come on Larry, name calling doesn't become you. Where were you, when she was running for the second highest office? Oh that's right, you were on topix typing drivel. Right?

Close. My target was drivel. Today Palin has managed to make herself a caricature of a caricature, no easy task, but one she's clearly up to. Don't misunderstand. I get a good laugh out of Sarah's feverish babbling.
If this this empty-headed bimbo has the right to influence other quasi-human beings, I should be rightful ruler of the Universe.

After all, you influence so many voters, don't you Mr. Wolf? Maybe you should offer your services... She sure garnered more votes than you did, maybe she doesn't need you??
