I can respect it when Banks don't want shoot-outs in their lobbys. And shoot-outs would be likely. But their method is wrong. They should ban USING a gun inside, not ban possessng the gun.

Bank lobbys can be dangerous places.

What I want to know is what jackass would start a gunfight to stop someone from stealing the banks money?

If bank robbers weren't easily deranged, and likely startled in a drug frenzy, I would stand up and clap after a robbery.

Jokes aside, I guess a hostage situation could come up where they finally decided to rape your daughter or execute you or something and it would be nice to have a pistol to try to fight.

Barring that though, let them take the money, F the bank, the people they funnel their money to are the ones ruining this country.

By the way. ONLY the state makes laws.

It is not unlawful possession of a firearm to carry your handgun concealed (with a state permit) in to a bank or theater who has a no gun policy.

Only if the manager were to discover you were carrying it, then tell you to leave, and you refused, would you be POSSIBLY charged with trespassing. If you immediately leave, you have violated a policy of the bank or theater, no different than if they had a "no tank tops" policy and you walked in. You have not violated a state or federal law.

Some people already have money tied up there.

And to the other Bob,

Yes, if a person is held hostage at gun point then it would be helpful to have armed people in there to possibly rescue them.
