This is what it's supposed to be like in a free country. Well, permits are not exactly the mark of freedom, but this county in PA (and its Sheriff) is the most easygoing and accommodating on the planet. IOW, they don't make it harder than law requires. And they treat gun owners with dignity instead of disdain as in some other states.

Alas, I can no-longer renew my non-resident PA-LTC by mail and will either have to wait for a time I can go in person, or just do without. Too bad there are legislators who will crap on any good thing to appease the Left.

A gun ban isnít popular in the United States as evidenced by the sheer number of weapons, ammunition, high capacity magazines and shooting accessories that have been bought since Anti-gunners started to reinstitute the AWB after Sandy Hook.
