The president has no damn business regulating the person property of people, nor the intrastate dealings of people and their property.

I'd like to see governors of states saying the same thing, that they will not enforce illegal laws.

Hussein should worry more about his failed health care bill and the failed economy it is causing.

Local police will enforce the assault rifle ban, plus, under home rule, local govts will create their own assault rifle ban. New York State already created a total gun ban.

A sheriff patrols areas without local police. Some counties don't have a sheriff dept.

Most sheriffs are antigun:

This is an attempt to detract from the fact police instigated the Sandy Hook school shooting.

Not without violating their oath to support and defend the US constitution. If they do, they will be war criminals, not US military. Some food for thought, if a complex ex-LAPD officer can take out two of them, if a simple black man can take out 4 of them in a coffee shop and simple black kid can take out 4 of them, 2 of which were SWAT team members, after a traffic stop, and the armed forces, national guard and police only number at the most 20 per 1,000, they'll run out of people pretty fast, especially when one considers that unlike in Vietnam, WWII, Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan, that their own family members live next door. Just putting out facts, not making threats.

2 teens, 1 adult charged in Portales killing (8:02 a.m.)

PORTALES - Police in Portales arrested two teens and a 21-year-old in the death of a man they say was shot when his car was stolen for its stereo equipment.
Portales Deputy Chief Lonnie Berry says the 16- and 17-year-old boys and 21-year-old Alonso Quinonez of Portales were arrested Wednesday. They're being held on open counts of murder, robbery and other charges.
The two older suspects don't have lawyers. An attorney police say is representing the 16-year-old would not confirm that to the Portales News-Tribune. Berry says the 16-year-old Arch teen shot 25-year-old Jose Alfredo Charize Montoya in the head during the robbery.
Family members found his body. Police didn't realize he had been shot until an autopsy revealed the wound.
The stolen SUV was found torched in Cochran County, Texas.

Not quite, traitor-troll:

"If there were evidence of a merely friendly meeting, it be the same as if there were no assemblage. If they were to give evidence that Blannerhassett and some of those with him were in possession of arms, as people in this country usually are, it would not be sufficient of itself to prove that the meeting was military.

"Arms are not necessarily military weapons. Rifles, shot guns, and fowling pieces are used commonly by the people of this country in hunting and for domestic purposes; they are generally in the habit of pursuing game. In the upper country every man has a gun; a majority of the people have guns every where, for peaceful purposes. Rifles and shot guns are no more evidence of military weapons than pistols or dirks used for personal defence, or common fowling pieces kept for the amusement of taking game. It is lawful for every man in this country to keep such weapons. In England indeed every man is not qualified to keep a gun; but even to those who have not that privilege the possession of dirks and pistols is not unlawful. Surely their possession at that island, of such arms as every man in this country is legally authorized to keep, and which most people do keep, can be no more evidence of a military project, or an intention to subvert the government, than if they had not been there at all. What is the rule to distinguish in such cases" There must be such evidence of a hostile assemblage proved to the court, as if true in point of fact, would constitute a treasonable assemblage."

9 Investigates examines gun ownership and violent crime rates

LAKE COUNTY, Fla.

The City of Clermont may be best known as home to the Citrus Tower, but as 9 Investigates first revealed in February, it is also home to the ZIP code with the most concealed weapons permits in our area.

Lake County is central Florida's most highly armed county overall: 7.1 percent of its residents have a concealed weapon permit. And Lake County also has central Florida's lowest rate of violent crime....

I disagree. I believe that about 50% will be on the side of We The People. They will turn on their fellow police officers and soldiers that attempt to subvert We The People's Constitution. There are even generals that have come out an stated as much.

LOL, for some reason I have a feeling that they relish their homes not burning down and their families not having to be detained for counseling by others.

However, the longer it takes to revolt, the fewer military allies we will have.

I applaud the Sheriff.
Louisiana has a similar bill awaiting passage. If passed, the law would hold federal agents accountable for arresting a Louisiana Resident on any Federal Gun Control Law within the borders of Louisiana. The arresting Federal Agent would face two years in prison for executing such an arrest.
