Uhm, no. Not only is this unconstitutional, it is impossible to enforce. You think we are going to add our guns to that form? Especially a tax form? They are dreaming. Uh, all my guns were stolen, yeah, thats it, stolen. Sorry, nothing to report here, move along. I keep saying though, pass all the laws you want... we will still get the guns we want. Our safety is not up for debate or vote. The safety of my family is not subject to the permission of another human being, no matter how godlike they think they are.

Two things:
.
[1] Don't expect the idiot fools to listen to you, because THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT >YOU<!
.
[2] THEY don't care about what happens to YOU, because it will always be >YOUR< fault, no matter what.
.
So-called 'gun-control' isn't. Rather, it is People Control. It always has been and it ALWAYS WILL BE!
.
Remember: 300 million firearms WERE NOT involved in ANY crime yesterday, or the day before, or even the year before, and that number keeps climbing daily!
.
GUN CONTROL: The argument that a woman found face-down on the ground, raped, stabbed and bleeding to death, is MORALLY SUPERIOR to the woman found standing over her attacker with a smoking gun in her hands!

I just want to point out that while HR 45 is a real bill, the article posted talks about SB 2099 also, which has been found to be a complete hoax. He mentions going to the Senate website and actually doing a search for SB 2099 but apparently has never done so.

Actually, I have to disagree. They must care, because they are trying so hard to micro manage my life. If they truly didn't care, than I could just do and own whatever I want as long as I didn't bother anyone (you know, FREEDOM). They do care, they care about making me a drone that feeds their failed system.

Good thing though, they can't push too hard because who has the guns? ;)

You would think that the news agencies would check their sources!!!

From my buddies at the NRA:
----------
Clearing Up the Rumors: The Truth About The "Gun Tax Bill"

Friday, August 14, 2009

Over the past few months, NRA-ILA has received hundreds of e-mails warning us about "SB-2099," a bill that would supposedly require you to report all your guns on your income tax return every April 15.
Like many rumors, there's just a grain of truth to this one. Someone's recycling an old alert, which wasn't even very accurate when it was new.
There actually was a U.S. Senate bill with that number that would have taxed handguns -- nine years ago. It was introduced by anti-gun Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.), and it would have included handguns under the National Firearms Act's tax and registration scheme. This has nothing to do with anyone's Form 1040, of course.
Fortunately, S. 2099 disappeared without any action by the Senate, back when Bill Clinton was still in the White House. We reported about it back then, just as we report about new anti-gun bills every week. Now, it's time for gun owners to drop this old distraction and focus on the real threats at hand.
To read a story by NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox on this and other rumors, please go to http://www.nraila.org/Issues/Articles/Read.as... .

C'mon, folks! When will you leave this alone? The article mentions H.R. 45 which was introduced in January and diverted to committee with virtually no chance of ever seeing the further light of day. The dreaded "S.B. 2009" is an e-mail rumor that has been circulating for nine years! See http://tinyurl.com/p24h5b for info from About.com .

Really: THEY DO NOT care.
.
They want to disarm you, and THEN leave you to the wolves.
.
Is THAT how a caring person acts?
.
If they ~really~ did care, they would just leave us alone.
.
You see? When someone actively interferes in the life of another such as to deleteriously affect that other life, they aren't engaged in the act of 'caring.'
.
In NO WAY could that be said to be 'caring.'
.
Was Hitler caring of the Jews, when he first disarmed them, and then later rounded them up and exterminated them?
.
Was Stalin engaged in the act of 'caring,' when he actively starved to death the people of the Ukraine?
.
Was Pol Pot engaged in the act of caring, when he murdered all those Cambodian people?
.
Ergo, when you 'care' about someone, you DO NOT actively interfere in their lives, causing them ~any kind~ of misery.

"I am under no illusion that this legislation will be approved by this Congress or next Congress ... But we must begin the process to create a law that Americans think is necessary."

What kind of George Orwell or Mein Kampf bull crap is that statement?

Are you asking that I believe that;

a) George Orwell existed as human being on the planet earth,

or,

b) that, the book "Mein Kampf" was actually a published book title on the planet earth,

or,

3) a and b,

or,

d) b and 3 only?

Well, let's see here.
.
The nom de guerre 'George Orwell' was a pen name.
.
The book Mein Kampf was indeed published under that title, as I happen to have a copy of it in my library.
.

"Nom de guerre" means 'name in war'. I Think you meant to say, "nom de plume", which specifically means 'pen name'.

You can't insult sailors, as it's not unlike a wresting match with a pig: You both get dirty - and the pig likes it.
