A ban on any guns is a violation of our 2nd Amendment rights! Why do you progressives insist on the all or nothing concept?<quoted text>So what are you complaining about? It looks like you agree with me that a ban on all guns can't be upheld.
Let me break it down to Romper Room level for you.
If you have a right under an amendment to own and use toothpicks, and the Amendment says that right shall not be infringed, you should be able to buy any toothpicks you want.
Along comes someone that says yellow toothpicks put out more eyes than other colors, and bans yellow toothpicks.
You can still buy other colored toothpicks. But your rights were violated because ALL toothpicks were protected under the Amendment.
As another poster put it. Rosa Parks didn't need to ride at the front of the bus, but she had the right to. Even if you don't need that yellow toothpick, you have a right to it.
