Change the language to fit your argument. Northern is now something other than Delaware. Keep moving the goal posts and no one but you will score.

REALLY? Is that why Delaware remained in the Union during the Civil War? Care to restate?

"Delaware was a slave state, numbnuts.

Delaware is SOUTH of the Mason-Dixon line, troll"

Do you read the posts are are you just like the person you call a troll? Forget it....Ideas of reference? You thought I was referring to you?

You are on your own...Change your Handle...look at post #129 Barefoot 2626. You are like Biden with a shotgun. Your approach gets friend and enemy alike and I am neither.

Whenever you have to look something up that you think you know that you have been called on, troll, you can be sure you have it wrong.
And we all get to see you dance.
You are 100% correct. 2ndAmRight doesn't know his geography or Civil War History.

Delaware was a slave state that was in the Union. Kind of Schizophrenic. Like a lot of the posters.

Present day Delaware is East of the MD line. And it was not a division between North and South but between the lands of Penn and Calvert (read Maryland). It became that and has its historic roots in Looney Tunes Cartoons.

Ever thought of CLARIFYING a comment that you make? Such as in making a REPLY to someones statement. Rather than just blurting out an ambiguous statement?

Know it far better than you do, troll. And you are the loser that is siding with a troll that is using a sidetracking tactic to detract from the REAL issue.

Take a hike.

Geographically, the approximate division between the north and south in the continental United States. Would be from just north of Richmond in Virginia on the east coast. To just south of the city of Monterey in California on the west coast. Which makes Delaware in the NORTHERN United States. And THAT is a PHYSICAL GEOLOGICAL FACT.

Of interest, is that this dividing line cuts about 1/4 off of Nevada and Utah,(placing the bulk of those states in the north). As well as 3/5 of Colorado, and about 1/3 of Kansas and Missouri. In addition to cutting through major parts of Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia and Virginia. Yet ALL of those states were included in the "south", with the exception of Illinois and Indiana. In other words, your pathetic ‘Delaware’ argument is pure BS.

Take a hike.

Nope.

Geographically: the halfway point would by exactly halfway between the southernmost point in the USA and the northern most point.

Do I need to remind you a few dozen times that half is 50 percent?

And of course that is putting aside what you have already most several dozen times.

PS: Delaware is not a southern state.

1 Alaska: homicides per 100,000: 20
2 Louisiana: homicides per 100,000: 19.5
3 Wyoming: homicides per 100,000: 18.8
4 Arizona: homicides per 100,000: 18
5 Nevada: homicides per 100,000: 17.3
5 Mississippi: homicides per 100,000: 17.3
7 New Mexico: homicides per 100,000: 16.6
8 Arkansas: homicides per 100,000: 16.3
9 Alabama: homicides per 100,000: 16.2

Delaware was the most divided of all the states (with the line more or less going through where the C&D canal is). Like many DELAWAREANS,*MY FAMILY* had people fighting on both sides in the war.

My direct descendants died *on both sides* at Battle of Chickamauga.

The Mason Dixon line (the "vertical" portion) marked the east west border between Delaware and what would be Maryland, the horizon line marked the PA border and would mark the divide between north and south.

GumsShow doesn't have it in him to admit he is wrong even when I've slapped the snot out of him.

Nope.

Delaware was a southern slave state that did not declared secession.

Slapped the snot out of you again. Vince.

Delaware was a slave state.

Delaware had slaves AFTER the civil war.

You are really incredibly stupid person- you should stick to copy and paste.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to do it again.

You can scream and kick and stomp your feet but everyone here can look it up (and have already): that is no one is coming to help you out.

All of which is nothing more than a lame and deflective side-tracking maneuver by lame and pathetic you. Doesn't detract from the FACTS one bit:

Northern States:

Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, D.C., Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Total Population = 136,308,568

Southern States:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia. Total legal 2012 population = 177,362,338

The South has 41,053,770 more people than the North. Then there's THIS interesting FACT:

Illegal immigrants 16,000,000

At least 80% of those are in the southern U.S.- Mainly; Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.

Number of illegals: 12,800,000
Population Difference: 41,053,770
Total Population over: 53,853,770 (South over north)

The largest percentage of homicides [by far] are in California, Florida, and Texas.

Why do you think the FBI lumped in "Hispanic" with "White" in their crime figures?

It should be noted that around 70% of all homicides by firearm are gang related.
