I'm not certain how much information could be attained from the 1940 Census for Guam, as I'm sure I'd read up at UOG's MARC that the US Congress formally cancelled the 1940 US, Guam Census due to the pending threat of World War - Congress preferred to spend the $$$ on building up + mobilizing the US Armed Forces + heavy Industry ASAP.
The above being said, may not hurt to see what Records they have, espec from the 1930's + 1920's.
I would like to see the post-WW2 Census records for Guam, i.e. 1950's thru 1970's - as of EOY 2009-early 2010, UOG MARC informed me that these are already on request from the US Census bureau, so hopefully its arrived by now.
