How about "ear-witness" ...credible reports? And of course coming from indymedia...that hits the spot. Please Seattle, where are you the "Day After" Iraq, Afganistan, and wherever next? Perhaps you can come and clean up the mess stop the human suffering that you and your Democracy & Liberty Inc. have created, instead of putting the burden on other countries. Grandiose speaches are useless indeed, and that's the only Change you can believe in between this administration and the last.

You're right!!
The southern E.U. nations are now paying the price of the mess that was made in Iraq and Afganistan by the U.S. The Turks take the money of the refugees and dump them into the middle of the Aegean to fend for themselves. The Turks many times sink the rafts that the refugees are on so that the Greek Coast Guard will be forced to take them and not send them back to Turkey. Greece has signed an agreement with Turkey under which it can send back the illegal migrants who enter from Turkey, but says the agreement is often not enforced.

And then of course we have the bipedal apes crossing over the mountains from Albania bringing crime, drugs and prostitution with them into Greece. The Greeks as well as the Italians, Spanish, Maltese and Portugese have had enough of these illegals. It has gotten out of hand. The E.U. is about to take new measures to prevent human trafficing.

Funny how the Turks always refuse to take any form of responsibility for their actions. Turkey admits it allows illegals to cross into and accross its country. By looking in the opposite direction, it allows smugglers to drop off the illegals in EU territory. It proves its complicity when its foreign minister acknowledges that Turkey would become the worlds largest refugee camp if it was to take back all the illegals that have entered Europe through Turkey. However, they do not do anything about the problem but talk about EU racism, and fascism keeping Turkey out of the EU. Is everything always Turkey's fault? No! But some things are!

What the Turks forget to say is that they use the illegal immigrants as mules to transport drugs from all the democractic and freedom loving countries around Turkey. Thats the price the illegals pay to get out of Turkey. Or else

@mediterranean You know what I am talking about e Tourke, thats why you occupied and still occupying other countries like Cyprus. You are brought to Cyprus by mommy Turkey from Afion Karahisar too, and that makes you an occupier and a drug mule too. The gates of Vienna are not far

You should watch Midnight Express. It will open up your eyes to the way thing really run in your country. You probably know already and have decided to turn a blind eye for the sake of misguided pride. However, the rest of the world knows that if you are welcomed into the Western community, our downfall has been sealed! Drugs and terrorism is no way to win over the hearts and minds of rational people. Turkey needs to change their culture of oppression, violence and lawlessness if they wish to be taken seriously.

To the Natufian Hunter from Constantinople:
Focus on the discussion my friend, come down from your minaret, and stop smoking.
By the way, refusing to look at the truth eye to eye does not change the truth. You only have to listen to the Rector of the University of Constantinople to understand your kind, he speaks turkish by the way.

The discussion is always the same, only the headers change. And it is Istanbul , neither Constantinople, nor Eis tan Poli.Things have changed, they evolved but you still could not.

Actually most actors seem to have been Italian and American. Good movie though. It shows the raw brutality of the Turks and their backwardness....something that hasn't changed for centuries. Their souls are as black as tar and their hearts are as cold as ice.

The ones who claim to be speaking Turkish in that movie are armenians dear. Of course there are greeks as well , when you go below the cast list you will see greeks as well

For persecutions , let me guide you to a more realistic and serious source.

''25 December 1920. We entered Kopruhisar with our forces around noon. I saw armed Greek soldiers entering homes and shops of people breaking the doors. There were screams of Turkish civilians, cries of women all around the village. Sometimes I was hearing shootings. While walking on the streets, I saw a an open door. I entered inside. Next to the stairs, there was the dead body of an old Turkish civilian. I heart rows and screams coming from further inside. I moved in. There were around 10 Greek soldiers their clother in dirt and mud, lying on the floor, bursting in laughter and joy. They were raping a Turkish girl, who has half naked, her clothes being ripped. The girl was crying in pain. She was begging the soldiers to stop.''

'Sis', you are not the one to decide who will write in which forum. Create your happy and safe world elsewhere, somewhere which is not open to public, somewhere where you can chose the commentors. Topix is not a sandbox like YT. If you are not ready to bear the replies , simply do not write.

For 6-7 Sept 1955, yes it was a mistake , it was a state provocation which went out of control. But what is your argument here ? Is it 'Yes we are fascist but you are more fascist than us '???
