Well, you must have some white in you due to the heavy flow of Greek DNA in what today are called "modern" Turks. Most "Turks" from the Balkans were Islamized Slavs, Greeks and Albanians. During the Ottoman Dark Age if you converted to Islam you were considered a "Turk" regardless of your background. The Devsirme system of abducting Christian children also added Greek and Slavic to the "Turkish" DNA.

Many Greeks in Crete converted to Islam in the 17th century in order to pay less taxes. They only spoke Greek until they arrived in Turkey in 1924 with the exchange of populations. Don't forrget also that most Ottoman Sultans were of Greek and Balkan ancestry....non-Turks.

Here you can see some "Turko" Cretans who today live in Ayvalik Turkey and still speak their native Greek language.

I visited Kos a week ago, I love it....food, sea, beaches, people, weather, etc. I was amazed when I found out that Hypocrite was originally from Kos. I would suggest anybody to visit Kos and see all the beauty that Kos Iland can offer.
What relates to turks that criticize Greeks I would suggest you guys stop it and open any book in any subject (math, physics, geometry, philosophy, astronomy, history, etc.) and see what Greeks have given to human civilization as a nation. After, do same thing in regards to Turks and compare. At that point, of course if you have reasonable and competent mind, you will realize how miserable Turkey next to Greece and hopefully that would stop your foolish talks about great Greek nation.

This is true. Almost every person in this world can speak English compared to any other language.
