This was a pretty good trivia question. The article would have been a good one if the second paragraph, "And we're not talking about the sex scandal that derailed his career more than two years ago", would have been omitted. Continuing to refer to more than two year old news was/is out of place.

Well, while I agree, the sex scandal will always be with him for the rest of his life. How many celebrities/politicians, that have been involved in a sex scandal, have had their scandals overlooked when there is a report about them? Probably none.

The main difference of the on-going references to Wood's sex scandal and politicians is that he is not running for office. He is/was not soliciting trust from anyone, unlike politicians.

Thats true for any celebrity. I just read a small piece on Mel Gibson and it brought most of his scandals up again. It doesn't matter who the person is. It will always be with them. Sex scandals, plus other types, should affect politicians more than celebrities but many, over the years, have escaped unharmed--Clinton--Gingrich--E isenhower--Jefferson and JFK to name a few--although everytime an article is written about them the scandals come up. Thats all I was saying--They never out live the scandal. It will follow them to the end of time. So, there is no reason to keep complaining about it but, it does get tiresome.
