AFP: Daly smashes fan's camera in golf tournament rage

Controversial American golfer John Daly grabbed a spectator's camera and smashed it into a tree amid a stormy end to his frustrating opening round at the Australian Open at Royal Sydney.

Another sad story from our favorite Tour embarassment. Even though he is not a Tour member any longer, I think it is time for Tim Finchem to step in and bar him from any play in the USA.

When you bit the hand that feeds you, as he has done down under, things need to come to an end.

Get a grip John and get away from those around you because they are just yes men who want to have a good time at your expense. Get some help or you are DONE.

At least the Aussie had a good attitude about the incident. If that had happened at the US Open, Daly would already be in court with a civil suit.

How dare anyone, especially in this PC don't offend anyone country, say anything negative about anyone, yet we do(hypocrisy?).Especially who can or cannot play golf,its a leisure activity,hobby, not a sport. On that note, tiger woods, the portrait of the future of americans,black-asian-white, & who is about as offensive a player as probably any in history gets a pass, because zombie like PC-ness. John Daly was a breath of fresh air when he first came onto the scene,now he looks like the average american, with the same attitude. Whats not to love? The obvious critique's are there, then there's the others because he chooses to "do it" his way. So all you hypocrites, keep taking a squirt(on the course) every other hole because your drunk, puke at the turn, etc. Goes for the richies too, they just have the $$ to barf at the grille. you disgust me, fellow yanks.
