Phil Mickelson shows why he's the king of hearts

Phil Mickelson was back at a major golf tournament Wednesday, back with the people who adore him for who he is and what he has done for them.

I love golf and could completely understand if a player rushed through autographs after finishing 18. We rushed to the grandstand after watching Phil skip golf balls into the lake on 16. The man was simply outstanding to the kids today. He signed for one after another after another. He even on accident lost track of who he was signing for but made sure that the right little kid got his or her yellow trophy back no matter how long it took. He wasn't going to be the role model that crushed a little kid's dream. Very proud to see a prominent athlete give of himself especially considering the stress and pressure that surround him on and off the course. Very proud today. Purely coincidental that we both golf left handed, he's better at it.

Well, Tiger doesn't give autographs while playing in a tournament but you would be hard pressed to fine someone who has donated as much as he has to the youth of the America. He just doesn't do it at tournaments and admits it. He gets in a zone and does not want anything to get him out of it. But, boy, he has contributed millions upon millions over the years.

I think Phil and Amy have done pretty well in that area also. Plus he's nice to people.

I didn't say he/they weren't. Just commenting on Tiger. He does more than anybody else(moneywise) in Golf. So, give him some slack while he is on the course. Remember, these guys don't have to do a damn thing off course.

Tiger dosen't do a friggen thing unless he gets paid well. Phil is a class act. John Daly is the garbage of golf.

What is up with all of you Tiger haters? The man does more charity and organizational work than all of these other golfers COMBINED.

He can't spend ALL of his time shaking hands and signing autographs or he would never be able to practice, or got home to his family.

You complain when he doesn't smile and laugh with every other golfer.

You complain when he shows irritation with a bad shot.

You people complain when Tiger doesn't win every tournament he enters. What's ironic is that you same people give Mickelson a pass for being the biggest bonehead, choke artist on tour. He's the modern day version of Greg Norman.

No matter what Tiger does you won't be satisfied.
