Sorry to hear about another early start for the final round. I'm out of state and have no choice but to watch on TV and the attendance looked very low. I could count the fans on 16 when Cink came through. Now with the early start, the attendance will be that much lower. What's going on with this tournament? Is is not being promoted? Is everyone on vacation? Or is it the weakness of the field? Unless the TPC gets longer or more difficult, I don't think you'll see a very strong field there in the near future. The better players don't have as good of a chance when everyone is shooting 65s. Also, what's with the weather emergencies at this tournament? I'm not aware of this happening at other venues this often. It seems as if the old GHO is losing a lot of respect on the PGA Tour.

Attendance Saturday was the best I have seen in years. A lot of people were following Singh instead of Cink. The crowd did seem to make a early exit on Saturday, maybe that is why it didn't seem like a lot on the 16th.
The dates of the tournament are hurting the field, not the course. Once they get a good summer date kike 2000,2001,2002 there will be better fields. Who knows if Tiger will ever be there though.
This tourament is still going to be the second most attended after the FBR open this year with crowds of 50k and 70k for Friday and Saturday.
