Feherty fell into a trap several sports journalists fall into. They think they are real journalists. Stick to writing about sports, with politics they are out of their depth. He wouldn't have made the same joke about Osama, Kobe and Shaq because it would be in bad taste. The real point is, the joke wasn't funny. Feherty has been great with the troops so I think he deserves a pass for an error in judgement.

First off that joke wasn't created by Feherty just repeated. Secondly, Pelosi and Reid are the real jokes; scary jokes to any real American. They are two of the most elitists of all politicians. Just a step above Franks and Dodd. Kudos to Feherty for speaking for all of us

Glad to see someone with balls enough to tell it like it is.

She is more dangerous to the troops and the country than any of the terrorists.

Feherty is now an unapologetic and proud US Citizen who has proven his committment to our troops many times over. He earned the right to be a smart alec and that's why people follow his monthly articles in golf periodicals and elsewhere. Sometimes a joke is just a joke, and all jokes offend someone. That's real life - so lighten up on the guy before your glass houses crash around you........

Maybe he crossed the line of political correctness, but the truth behind his jest is more real than the high minded liberals in our country want to believe. Pelosi and Reid are liars who need to be stopped before they bring this great country down. If given the choice, our soldiers would much rather have the Bush administration leading them than this pathetic bunch of lilly livered misfits. Go Dave Feherty!

TIGER CHEERLEADERS!- In 2009 watch Tiger try to win the U.S. Open the second year in a row. Afterwards, watch Tiger in New York as he watches Roger Federer try to win the U.S. Open for a record 6th year in a row! I know Tiger has 14 majors and Roger only has 13, but keep in mind that Roger won his first major 6 years and 25 majors after Tiger won his first!
