Turning Stone is in New York. Notah may be from New Mexico but guess he doesn't think any NM golf courses are acceptable for his fundraiser. That's disappointing as I am certain NM residents would support the presence of his tournament and NM could use a positive event here. I wish him the best anyway.

A "skins" game? Are you talking about the Washington Redskins? The proper word that should have been used is "INDIAN".

Don't jump to conclusions about a term being used in an article. Look it up before you get all bent out of shape. A "skins game" is a golf betting game that pits members of a foursome (or threesome or twosome) against each other in a type of match play. Each hole carries a value, and the winner of the hole wins that amount. Ties, or halves, result in the bet amount being carried over to the following hole, adding to the pot. When a player wins a hole, they are said to have won a "skin."

TIGER CHEERLEADERS!- Imagine Tiger wining 3/4 majors all in the same year 3 times. Imagine Tiger wining 2 different majors 5 years in a row. Imagine Tiger having more majors than the rest of the field COMBINED. Now imagine Tiger having the all time majors record in 1/2 the time it took the previous record holder to do it. More? OK! Imagine Tiger wining his first major not in 1997 but in 2003 and 25 majors later at the age of 27 having 15 majors. How dominant would that be? More? OK! Imagine Tiger in 2009 trying to win his 6th U.S. Open in a row! Now OPEN YOUR EYES & WAKE UP, because it's not Tiger but his buddy ROGER FEDERER - The all time majors leader in his sport!(NO! Tiger or his CHEERLEADERS can't say that) No! Roger doesn't have a unique first name like Tiger and a golf last name like Woods. NO! Roger is not African American and he doesn't stick out in the field like a Black Sheep, but SO WHAT! Finally, Pete Sampras former ATP record holder won his first major at age 19 and 49 majors later at age 31 won his record 14th, but Pete never had a career grand slam because he never won the French. ROGER won his first major at age 21 and 25 majors later at the age of 27 has 15 majors and the career grand Slam! How about Tiger? Tiger also won his first major at age 21 and 50 majors later at age 33 has 14 majors and is 5 majors away from having the all time PGA majors record. So Pete = 14/49 Tiger =14/50 and Roger =15/25 majors. Can you spot THE STAND OUT! Roger won 15 majors in 1/2 the time it took Pete and Tiger to win 14! That's like Tiger wining his 19th PGA major in 1/2 the time it took Jack Nicklaus to win his record 18th! I know some of you TIGER CHEERLEADERS are saying Tiger will eventually get 19 majors and break Jack's record right? How many more majors do you think Mr. Federer will have at that time?
