I think she showed extreme courage just getting through yesterday's round. It was obvious she was in pain. You can fake the limp, but jumping off of your left foot on your follow through is for real. What a shame and she was scoring well, also. I think she adds a great deal to the LPGA. Beautiful girl, wonderful swing and she smiles a lot, too.

She saved the LPGA
She is the best ever
She will win back to back
First win under her belt, no stopping her now.

Hey Tiger played with a broken leg and played some of the best golf of his career....whats up Michelle? Oh well, always NEXT year I guess.

First of all Tiger did not have a 'broken' leg, it was a hairline fracture. Regardless of that he did play well but also was putting his golfing career in jeopardy. And given Michelle's past mistake of coming back too soon from her wrist injury, she has done the right thing to not make that misjudgement again.
You also forget that she too was playing one of the better rounds of anyone that played in those howling afternoon conditions, as low as -3at one point. And that she was trying to play through the obvious pain to support the LPGA because, whether you want to admit it or not, she is one of the bigger draws of fans and interest.

As for all those quotes you posted, those are things that people think and say, Michelle has never stated anything of that nature, she merely wants to play golf. Painless golf.

You jerks always say, "Michelle is no Tiger," yet you compare her with him when it makes her look bad. Geez, get a grip.

As a below average golfer, I find playing with any kind of tweak, twist, or sprain to be painful, frustrating and just no fun. Far better to take the time to heal, rather than risk career ending injury. Good call, MW

I agree. I'm a hacker. My swing to adapt to pain (I just couldn't stay off the course!) and now I must relearn things as I am now pain-free.

Rumor has it that Alice, when in the right mood, can be very, very, EXCITING! No thanks -- I'll take a pass on that if you don't mind.

Alice if Wie and the LPGA is so boring then why in the hell are you watching golf. Do all of us a favor just fadeaway and don't write any comments if you don't like what you watch. OK
