My only question is what took the ladies of the lpga so long to dump her??

Well, I think one reason is that nobody knew how bad (alledgedly) she was doing until the economy tanked and then all the little stuff started to surface. I mean, even the sponsors were complaining about her 'all take' attitude instead of 'give and take'. I sure don't envy the job that Evans has in front of her, even though it is temporary.
