Wie should give up and practice more before entering tournaments, she's a loser

Wie made 6 birdies in 10 holes, then promptly bogeyed, doubled, and then bogeyed again...wow...all that work to get into the top 5 on the leaderboard, only to give it all back.

If she can just eliminate all the errors, she'll definitely win on a regular basis. But she 'must' eliminate those errors.

I really like Michelle Wie , but its frustrating to watch her inconsistency. Seems like after she makes a bogey she just falls apart. She had a really good run in the fourth round and then its bogey/dbl bogey/bogey. She really needs to get her head together or fans of hers will just lose interest. I don't care if she ever wins as long as she just stays consostent.

What do people not get about Wie?
She's an average women's golf professional, something to be very proud of, a great accomplishment.
No one rails on Dean Wilson or Parker when they have poor tournaments.
Wie is not a champion women's golfer. She is not the caliber of the top women. But she's acomplished a heck of a lot, and she can beat most of us men on the course.
Good enough.

Agreed. Dean Wilson got disqualified the other day. He's missed the cuts in the majority of the tournaments that he's entered this year.

Michelle is NOT a top 10 player; however, she IS top 20. So she is STILL a better than average pro player. She's entered 10 tournaments this year. She's made the cut in ALL ten. She finished 11th today. Not too bad. Morgan Pressel was in the hunt - up as high as 3rd on the leaderboard, I think. She ended finishing behind Wie at 15th.

The incredible thing is this. Despite Michelle playing inconsistent golf, and despite not playing nearly how she is capable of playing, she is STILL a top 20 player. That just shows you how much raw talent she has. To be playing "poorly", and to still be ranked 18th out of 149 pro golfers is INCREDIBLE! Can you imagine how unstoppable she will be when her game comes around??

No argument about her talent BUT without dedication, hunger, and drive to be the GREATEST, it's WASTED TALENT like so many athletes.

You're questioning Michelle's DEDICATION and DRIVE!?!?!?

At 19 years of age, she is a self-made multi-millionaire who also happens to be attending Stanford University. She finished in the top 10 today, and she made $35,000. Her tournament winnings thus far in 2009 is close to $400,000.

Please tell me WHAT have YOU accomplished in your life, much less at 19 years of age, that you are in a position to question Wie's dedication and drive??

I'll be waiting for your answer.

TIGER CHEERLEADERS - Imagine Tiger wining 3/4 majors all in the same year 3 times! Imagine Tiger wining 2 different majors 5 years in a row! Imagine Tiger having more majors than the rest of the field COMBINED? Now imagine Tiger having the all time majors record in his sport with the career grand slam at the age of 27! Now WAKE UP! Open Your Eyes to Reality and say ROGER FEDERER! More? OK! Imagine Tiger in 2009 trying to win the U.S. Open for a record 6th year in a row! More? OK! How about this! Imagine Tiger wining his 18th major and being tied with Jack Nicklaus in 1/2 the time it took Jack to win his record 18th! All time ATP Majors record holder Pete Sampras and Tiger Woods took 12 years to win 14 majors. MR. ROGER FEDERER - Won his 14 majors with something Pete Sampras doesn't have (the career grand slam) in only 6 years. That's 1/2 the time it took Pete and Tiger to win 14 majors. That's like Tiger wining his 18th major in 1/2 the time it took Jack Nicklaus to win 18! YOU WELCOME! Now get your Tiger POM-POMS ready for the next ROUTINE!

So What! Big Deal! Roger doesn't have a unique first name like Tiger or a Golf last name like Woods! Roger is not American and he doesn't stand out like a BLACK SHEEP! Roger doesn't get OVER-HYPED by the Sportswriters and Sportsmedia (who also carry TIGER POM-POMS)! Finally, Roger doesn't have ALL OF US!- THE TIGER CHEERLEADERS! Ra! Ra! Ra! We the TIGER CHEERLEADERS are right now working with the sportswriters and sportsmedia on a GREAT STORY stating that Roger's 12 of his 14 majors should not count! WHY? Because those 12 were not played in the Finals against Rafael Nadel THAT'S WHY! We the TIGER CHEERLEADERS are always working on a NEW ROUTINE on and off the course when it comes to TIGER! Ra! Ra! Ra!
