How do you know, Cathy?

Just wondering, Cathy. I'm not doubting you. Looks like there was, in fact, trouble in paradise... The relationship was a double bogey. So sorry to hear it.

Does anyone know if she left her husband for Freddie? I had hear she did. He had her driving all over Charlotte in a new leased MB SUV. How could she not be caught up in the trappings. Pretty stupid.... This is the second Charlotte woman he has hooked up with. I would like to know if it is over yet...

Who is Fred's new Charlotte lady? Another one after Amy O'keefe?

Fred lives in LA. Is he dating a new lady from Charlotte? I heard Mary from Chicago never worked out.Fred does not like cold weather and she has a career.
Who was with him at the event in LA?

Fred has always been a gentleman. He comes from a wonderful family. He was raised in Seattle and graduated from O'Dea which is a popular Catholic all boy's school in Seattle. He has been gifted playing golf but he truly is a down to earth guy who's done well. He also has a brother and sister who live still live near Seattle. Congratulations Freddie, we're all very proud of you......

I was a Couples fan growing up; liked his swing, seemed ok. Saw him on the practice tee at Mirasol in the late 2000's. Very disappointing. He was basically standing around talking nonsense and shanking balls, catching them fat, out on the range purposely. Showed very little passion for the game.

Another moment at the Honda Classic years prior. Some person, attractive blonde was talking about how Couples walked right past her and didn't sign a thing for anyone. Guys, girls, kids, nobody. Yet, Daly signed for a lot of people. At that time, I was young and figured, "eh, people have bad days."

I also heard Couples was the king of the ex-wife jokes on the practice range.

I've followed Fred Couples career for three decades, but didn't pay much attention to his personal life. I remember Deborah, but that was about it. After reading the 150 comments, thinking back to a couple golf digest articles, and doing some research on the internet; it has become clear to me who's the real Freddy. I think I might have the order of events down, but I would like to hear from some people who've made past comments on this blog. If Kathy or Julie are out there, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. I remember hearing about Thais in the late 90's when she was battling cancer and they were just married. Years later I remember reading Freddy say he did not love her but kind of felt sorry for her. Sometime between the late 90's and 2005 the cancer went away and that's when Fred left her. Around 2005 the cancer came back and he went back to Santa Barbara. I think that's when he was living in the guest house. Anyway, he cheated on her again and left for the final time to La Quinta or Scottsdale. Thais died in 2009 when Fred played in the LA Open going down to the wire against Phil. When he left for that final time, I think he left Thais for Kathy Masters but I am not sure. If that was the case, I guess Freddy dumped Kathy Masters for Julie, who was dumped for Amy O'keef, who was dumped for Midge, who was dumped for some women in Chicago, who then was dumped for Nadine. All of this stuff going down over the last 10 - 12 years while Jim Nantz is narrating Fred's story of being a great gentleman and champion. How can you not for forget Nantz and Fred in Butler Cabin all those years. Never mind Nantz was screwing his own wife over with a young CBS intern or employee during this time too. We rip Tiger Woods and justifiably so for serial infidelity, but leaving your dying wife not once but twice is horrible. No wonder GiGi hated the guy. TW sponsors ran from him, but I wonder what Asworth, Cadillac, or Bridgestone thought about Fred's off course life? I remember seeing that Golf Digest article the month it came out with Fred doing yard work. I remember thinking what beautiful home and beautiful family. I am sure Thais was tough to live with and she's now dead anyway, but he threw all that away for the bimbos listed on this web site. I don't know if I should feel really sad for guy or just see him as a real A Hole.
