Any golfer would love to hit the ball further off the tee, and better yet, straight down the fairway! Hitting your drive further means the hole sets up completely different. Instead of hitting longer irons to the green, you'll be hitting more wedges and short irons, increasing the chance of a lower score. Here are 5 simple tips to try to hit the driver 15 yards further next time you hit the range.

One of the most important things is to make sure the ball is in the perfect position in your stance at ball address. Ideally for right handers, it should be lined up with the inside of the left foot.

If you setup with the ball any further forward than that, the ball could leave the discount golf clubs face with too much back spin, thus losing distance. Too far back in the stance and the ball could have over-spin, causing it to lose distance in the air.

Make Sure The Ball Is Teed High Enough - With newer drivers these days, the sweet spot is above the center of the club face, not the exact center. An easy way to ensure you'll hit this raised sweet spot is to simply tee the ball up higher!

Many golfers have heard this tip, but on the range or the course it's one of the first tips that completely goes out the window. A tendency that crops up for many is they get anxious to hit the ball with a lot of force, which shortens the swing with discount golf clubs and can lead to many small flaws.

If you make sure the shoulders completely turn on the back swing it does a few important things. Firstly, it sets the tempo of the swing to nice and even, which allows for a more solid strike almost always. Secondly, it encourages the weight to be transferred to the back foot during the back swing, which loads body weight on the right side, setting up the hitter to unleash more power into the drive with discount golf clubs. Lastly, a full back swing shoulder turn allows for a much faster downswing and club head speed through impact.

Try those 3 tips of putting the ball in the correct position at address, teeing the ball high enough, and completing the shoulder turn on the back swing next time you are hitting balls on the range. You'll undoubtedly see some further distance from your driver.
