By 2045 there will be no ruSSian BS fleet in site. It will lay on the bottom of sea. LOL!
Yes, I think it's agood deal, but Ukraine miscalculated when it signed it. They were so greedy that they didn't even realise what they were signing. They wanted to lay their hands on Soviet ships as a mark of victory without realising that they accepted to lease the naval base!
The Russian Baltic Fleet will probably stay there until the end of the lease, and by then, a new government may sign another one.
Don't count your chicken before they hatch, they say. In your case, don't rejoyce before an event.

Personally, I think that unnecessarily goading Russians in their backyard could be counter-productive. It may undermine the co-operation that has been achieved between Russia and NATO, Russia and the US.
It may also bring hardliners at the forefront of Russian politics, and undo all the efforts that have been achieved during the last 20 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Let's face it, the US wouldn't appreciate much the Russian navy lurking in the Gulf of Mexico and visiting Cuba or else.
Don't worry. The intent by Obama is to share warship secrets with opponents so they can be our equal. Fact is that Russia has subs stationed outside the coastlines the US and territories and has for years.

Bollocks to that!!
If I admired bullies, I would be pro-America...
No, I like Russia for its rich history, its culture, its arts, its atmosphere, its people often. I just like the country and places like Moscow, Kazan, St Petersburg, rich in history, palaces, museums, etc...
Russia is a very much misunderstood country and that make it so attractive to me!
You admire everybody who is against US! You dont' give a hoot about russian culture, art, and especially about its people. To you russia is a pond just like children become a pond in bad child custody.
If tomorrow russia becomes US friend and supporter of its foreign policies your love for russia will be gone like last years snow.
I like the fact that you pay your taxes in support of NATO and sit watch russia disintegrating. LOL!

LOL!In the few years BS fleet will be replaced with NATO babies. Worthy of Crimean beautiful site. Now that Odessa had a chance to see beauty of US ships and generosity of US navy, it can't wait to see them back next year.
Who wants to look at russian rust buckets? Now that Shell is moving in I imagine it will welcome US ships to protect their investment in Black sea basin.
