It's a pity that ordinary western people know nothing about real ties between Russia and Georgia.Just read Russian History and may be you will change your point of view

Russia and the US is already at war with one another through all these third parties in the mid east.

Russia arms them, we war with them, but on the surface the US and Russia are peaceable nations.

Same goes for the US and China. China is waging war on the mid east peoples through the US by providing endless funds for the war when without those funds the war would end in a day.

The superpowers warring with one another through third parties has always been common and the sooner these third parties realize that they are nothing but pawns on the world scene the sooner a lot of war can be done away with although when they do realize that they are just pawns of the superpowers they will not do the right thing and cease being conned by them but will form an alliance together and just make more war.

This is what is going on now, an alliance of the lesser nations and who they are is irrelavant because it is the alliance that is the point.

The lesser nations have always been pawns so in my estimation it is long overdue to see these types of alliances being formed, especially in the mid east.

I have always said that the non Jewish interests in the mid east nations will unite and this has happened and is growing steadily.

Bad idea. Russia doesn't have so much resources to feed so many prisoners of war and their families. It'll be better to support their independence and let the U.S.A. to feed pro-Americans.

They need that oil to base that oil on the US dollar and to get enough control in Iraq and Afghanistan to switch them to the US dollar.

If these three things cannot be acquired out of this war then the US economy utterly collapses into oblivion and so do we.

Very true and very inciteful. Third parties have been use through-out history. Prime example Georgia who is a nextdor neighbor to Russia, Suddenly becomes noticed by the States, why two reasons one it does happen to have many resources, including a running oil pieline, but also aprefect way for the US to tick off Russia and make her feel uncomfortable in her own region, in other words Georgia has now become the pawn for the American side.
georgia is not russias backyard and it will never be again

Hazen, being from a country such as Armenia, sees no other way than being somebodys backyard.

The way I percieve it, Russia is just trying to pressure the USA colonists in Georgia.

Georgia can act wise and use this conflict of powers to establish a true independancy.

They do have idependance, they have already achieved this in the 90's. I think the US has made Georgia a pawn to upset Russia. Also Turkey is slowly getting fed up with American pressuring and prehaps Georgia can be her new military base.
Hazen,
read what I have written.
I am talking about real independance too.(which means "not being a pawn")

Georgia has not achieved independance in 1990.
Its 9 April 1991.
though most uf us consider 26 May 1918 as the real Independence day.

So, you should not consider everyone as ignorant as people surrounding you. I am half Georgian.

Georgia will not be USA base, they will get over it. The American sponsored government will be pressured out by the Motherland Russia :)

I think Bush has gotten to you. You of all people should know that when the US gets involved in another Countries politics(Turkey) they never leave. The US will drain every last ounce of their economies, military etc, before they will leave a nation alone. Just be glad Turkey finnaly started to realize this
Dude... I do not see what you r getting at.
You seem to have lost your sense of logic flow.
What are you arguing?

I m saying that there is American powers in charge at Georgia.
I m saying that the Russian preassure can create a more balanced medium in which independence can re-establish its roots...

How do u relate to turkey...

Here is my point, Do you think that America and Russia pulling on either end of little Georgia will bring balance? It will be the battle ground for both of these larger nations, simple. No benefit will come of this just civil strife. I personally like the Georgian people and I think they deserve a better future than that.
PS
You seem to assume I hate Turks, why cause I don't take their bullsh-t. You have no clue, My father's family were also saved by a Turk who risked his families life just to save my ancestors, let alone my favorite cousin is half Armenian and half Turkish. Do you have anything else to add, Mr. Assumption?
Nations all over the world need to stop being pawns and battlegrounds for the highr nations.

If Georgia is smart it will not be a pawn nor a battleground for any two higher nations unless it is to fight them both if they are invaded.

How to go about doing that though without one or the other turning the place into a third world nation from the outside is...

Lesser nations must acquiesce one way or the other since the only two choices they have is to be destroyed by war or destroyed by money.

It is all blackmail.

If they want help, help them, if they don't, leave them to their own devices to solve their own problems.

"Annexing" symbolically, literally or figuratively the lesser nations is the method of exapansion of the higher nations.

That is why the lesser nations ARE lesser nations.

There is no global community except the haves and the have nots and the have nots only exist because of the haves made them to be have nots but the have nots cannot make the haves to be have nots.

Everybody is always us against them, hate, strife, war, greed, profit, that is all it has ever been with our species.

People all over the world are reassessing their "global view" not based upon politics or money but about who we are and what we are doing and where we are going as a species.

Sooner or later the masses of the world will be successful in getting the message across that WE aren't at war, our LEADERS are at war.

Give them guns and drop them in the woods somewhere while the rest of the world can start to work on preserving our world and our countries compared to endless death and destruction.

These types of leaders are the worst the human species has to offer.

Hate and greed are a disease and they are eating our species alive right now and if somehow this cannot be interupted then there is no hope because this is going to just get worse and worse.

As each month goes by each of these leaders gets worse and becomes more despotic than the month before.

They are fools believing that expansion and the consolidation of power and wealth is the solution to todays problems.

These types have always been around but unfortunately in this day of our generation a whole slew of these types of men come onto the scene at the same time and look at the result.

tsk, sk, tsk.

If there was only a way to get the message to almost 300 million people.

Sadly, only these types of leaders have access to a mass audience and any other message just comes off like a blurb.
