I have to say I do not think this casino will make it the staff was friendly the 1st night we went after that it was a just a joke the security was all over us and I'm a 50 year old woman who owns her own business my son is 25 owns his own business as well and they just watch him like he had done something wrong and that's not the case they just assume something and we all know what the word assume means. When my son mention this to me I thought well maybe he is just not seeing it the way they mean however, I saw it for my self and the comments when we left was not have a nice day or evening it was rude and wrong. We do not live any where by there was just passing on are way and stayed with some friends for a few days. I talk with some of the local folks and once again I will say they were older and they told me they had the same thing happen to them. They have such a large team for such a small place. We decided to go again on our way out of town and had the same experience of being treated badly by the security team I have know idea what we did to get this treatment so as you go I would look forward to see if any others have been treated this way.
It is not worth the drive to experience it !! You would be better off to go to one of the many other casino's that are just a little further for some and closer for others.
I know the restaurant close by thought this would be good for them however that is not the case. So maybe if they stop treating everyone like they have done something and the general managers walk around and ask if the general public was enjoying them self just maybe we would feel more at ease.
I don't see the casino making it.
1. Wrong date to open right before it gets 120 plus degrees.
2. Not enough persons with the money to go there and the ones that do will go to a better casino.
3. To far from a major city.
4. They treat everyone as if they are doing something wrong even my grandmother along for the trip with us what a joke.
5. The newness will wear off and it will slow to the point that the staff will be cut in half as they said in the local newspaper to many chiefs for such a small casino.
Well those are my thoughts we will never go there again will stop at morongo or pachanga or one of the other if we get the urge not this one.

I have been there and had a great experiance with the staff and accomidations. All were friendly and the Casino for being small felt roomy inside. I did not have the feelings as Cindy Smith
had.
It is a pleaseant place to visit. If I do experiance anything stated by Ms. Smith I will be sure to report to this paper.
Don't take my word for it. Go and appreceiate for yourselves. Good Luck!

I am not very fond of what is happenning with the state of california and casino's.
I have heard that the directors or managers of the casinos seem very honest but when push comes to shove they will back stab. This was from two of my friends that have had experiences like this.I can't speak for this person in charge but all I heard is he came from another casino named Winds in washington state. So check it out with caution is all i have to say.

I have a residential lot 300 meters away from the sea inside the city and another commercial lot beside Hwy 86, also inside the city. With the ongoing restoration plan of the sea and the housing development around the area, I welcome the CASINO, and all other improvements around the area. All the signs of progress and developments accelerates the birth of a recreational city like Salton Sea and the increase of property values will prevail.

Cindy Smith is illiterate and stupid - I don't blame the security staff for watching her and her entire family.

Your lot in VDM. This is a very opportune time to build a home. Lot sales are even high in demand. If you are thinking of selling your lot, please call me.

ms cindy, your comments may be what you thought you experienced, but from my own personal experience, I hae seen only professional, courtious, from not only security, but the entire staff. Yes, the first week the casino opened it had a heavy security presence, but, that was for the security and safety of the patrons. When I fell to the floor, it was the Security staff who helped me up and made sure I was not injured. PURE AND TOTAL PROFESSIONISM ALL THE WAY.
