I have met Edward Cunnigham and bothered to research Internet reports between he and a colorful fellow also working out of South America - they are not the same person. The gambler and promoter is now in custody in North Carolina and the real Edward Cunningham is working in a consultive capacity on Energy Projects.

Just a comment to reduce confusion.

Yes, you are right there is one Larry Edward Cunningham in jail. But here we are talking about Edward Russell Cunningham, the big fat guy married with a girl from Costa Rica named Rocio Chacon. He was trying to sell an Energy project in Guatemala.

This con man left a lot of debts in Guatemala, El Salvador an of course, Costa Rica.

Yeah, they have those giant sinkholes that can swallow a town. Plus, the Guatemalans have been selling fully auto machine guns and assault rifles to Mexican drug cartels. Cuidado!
