dear Marlie, my name is leigh, and i live in england, i watched a documentry about you on tv, 14/6/08. I must confess, i am not a follower of any religion, i lost my faith a long time ago, but, seeing you has restored my faith in mankind. What you have gone through, i cannot even begin to imagine.I feel so sad that i moan about my own misgivings, and yet you live in so much pain. I wept for you. I am so happy that you received medical help that made your life on this earth so much better, YOU ARE BEAUTIFULL!!!:) GOD BLESS MARLIE XXX

Dear Marlie,

I am still watching the documentary about you on TLC. During the commercials I've been searching for pictures and information to see how you've done since the documentary was originally shot. You are one of the bravest people ever to have walked this Earth. I myself have a 13 year old and can't begin to imagine how you and your family are as brave as you have been. I just heard your mother say that you came to Miami and were the doctors "saved" you. While the doctors in Miami may have saved you physically, know that your story and God's unbelievable grace will save many SOULS because your story is PROOF of God's undying mercy and grace. May God continue to bless you. Your bravery seems to have brought understanding to your hometown in Haiti, and for this I'm glad. God bless Gina and Ginette (hope I spelled that right) for all of their work, and most importantly for the Lord for putting them in your life.

Marlie,

You are a very cool inspiring girl and I hope that you do all that you dream you can do in this life. Every door is open for you! Just saunter through and find your glorious place in this world, girl! Love your family most and do not forget all the little people who always loved you with or without your surgeries! Looks are unimportant and what really matters is inside, you have always possessed the beauty within, take it and RUN! Have fun

Dear Marlie:
My name is Brenda and I sent you a present some time ago. It was a cookbook and some other things. I don't know if you received them or not, but I wanted to see how you were doing. Since we don't have cable, I didn't get to see the documentary about you. I am glad to learn you are doing better and I wanted you to know I am praying for you and your family. You have come a long way and I hope you continue to do so. The Lord is watching over you and guides you in your journey. I will continue to follow your recovery and hope you know how much people all around the world love you. Never give up and keep being the wonderful person you are.
