Realtime play. Turns no longer then 30-45 seconds.
Best site so far seen. Graphics are not the best, beut game is brilliant.
See you at the tables!
If you are good, the european players will gang up on you. The administrator will even ban you if you are too good or if you argue about how the administrator says it's okay to team.

Conquer club is the best place to play despite the dodgy interface. Its got the most players (around 15000 active players) and the best game options.

Major Command has a much nicer interface apart from the fact that it's far too slow. It lags like a bastard. On a good day it's irritatingly slow and on a bad day it's completely unplayable. If they could just do something to speed this up a bit then it would be better than conquer club.

Conquerclub blows. I want to play risk or an identical game online, multiplayer, in real time. Not some ultra lame one turn a day crap.

You should try http://atwar-game.com/...
It has real time risk in turns as low as 1 minute. it also has a custom map maker, and custom units along with default world map settings. It has a very active community of hundreds of players playing each day to. It is also free to play! I've been playing for months now and I always keep coming back.

Blip.se had this AWESOME real-time Risk game,
altough it only had a map of Europe with North-Africa,+ the Levent.
the players had like max 1-3 mins too make its turn and usually it were very fast. It wasn't called "risk" it was called more like "General" or somethin' like that.
Sadly Blip.se was deleted for unknown reasons and i havn't found anything near that since then.. really dissapointed!
you need to try http://atwar-game.com

conquer club is a sham be careful, they cancel memberships after u have paid & routinely toss ppl from games - very poorly run & not friendly or trustworthy, it's all about taking your $$ and then trying to elicit more from you.

Just wanted to respond to the person above and post it is a total lie and not true. The only way you can get thrown off CC, or likely any site is one of 2 things. Being really really annoying or cheating the game, with secret diplomacy or multiple accounts.

I'd advise http://www.worldrebellion.org/ it's the best I've found so far, and you can even play as an anon without having to sign up. They barely ask for any information if you choose to sign up as well.

www.e-WarZone.com is the best place to play Risk online. All of these other varitations like Warlight, D12 and Conquer Club are not a true form of classic Risk because Hasbro has a copyright on the game. For awesom animations and classic rules in a dedicated lobby like MSN Gaming Zone, come play Hasbro Risk2 on www.e-WarZone.com

You may play the good old risk game here for free (classic version):

www.iirtw.net

It is a new non-commercial project based on HTML5 and websockets. No Flash required!
