some people are so judgemental and make such statements about people they don't know. after reviewing statements to a comment i made to twin river much after the fact i was quite disgusted with "jon". he just must know everything - like a god complex of some kind. jon i so hope you read this someday or somehow because you are nasty and judgemental. it was also nice to see that it was followed by people who wrote in my favor and much appreciated. after all these comments i think jon got what he wanted after all this time, a reaction, or whatever it is he/she was looking for.

there is NO way that happened. Sorry but you must either not know what you are doing or were drunk.
i have already reported this as abuse and rechecked to see what happened. evidently nobody monitors what is said on this site. who is this person to judge me? i was not drunk-i knew what i was doing and how does this person think he knows there is NO was that happened? who cares i guess because months have passed and the judgemental know it all probably will never see this.

Well, I've been playing Twin Rivers / Lincoln Park for years. I can't entirely agree with all the posts here. I've hit for $480 on a penny machine and have walked out ahead probably more than my share. But, I do think the slots are much tighter than Mohegan or Foxwoods. I don't have a sense of the payouts but I'd bet the penny machines are below 85% and that the casino as a whole is below 90%. The comps are asinine...I tried to figure out the percentage on them and it was useless...as a rough guess, a penny for each $10 wagered? I can expect a free meal if I go to Mohegan for three or four trips. I've gone to Twin River 40 times I bet and am nowhere near a free meal. The whole place feels like it is run by amateurs. On a fair number of machines, the card reader is pushed in. A lot of machines don't rate at all. So many things that would never happen at the CT casinos are commonplace at Twin River. I do hope they get their act together.

Have you guys checked out the 888.com website?
Its great for blackjack particular, although alternatively it hosts games such as baccarat, craps, various types of pokers and video slots,as well as regular slots.

My point is its worth the visit.

If you think you are saving time and gas money going to Twin River, you'll just leave the difference in their machines. Drive an extra hour, it's worth the trip, you'll have a better experience.

It amazes me that this place doesn't minimally have poker or some table games when the state is half a billion dollars in the hole. It's not a far drive to ct. I'd rather drive an hour to play a real game than 10 minutes to play a rigged video game.

I have been going to lincolin for the past 14 yrs. way before it is what it is today..Back in the day I would go their with $100.00 dollars and play for 5 or 6 hrs, now you go their with $ 100.00 and you are broke within 30 min, i just don't get it. I guess you could say i have paid for the addition, parking lot and the landscaping and get nothing in return anymore, tightening up the machines is chasing people away, losen up a bit and give some back.
i agree laurie...befor this twin river thing, remember when it was lincoln downs people??remember when you could win? there are so many pissed off people on friday and sat. nights they get very rude.uyou can hardly walk,it's always freezing, and the the music is so loud!!! and oh yeah have you seen the prices the restaurants charge..my god!!! plus you just win a little no matter what or how much you play.. i only go to foxwoods now! what a pleasant relief that place is compared to twin river.no drowning music, spacious and best of all you can still win money there! big money.

I enjoy Twin River, we always have fun when we go. We often head up there after midnights with $20 bucks and walk out with a couple hundred. They desperatly need table games but the people of lincoln don't want it, and congress is having a tuff time allowing table games because of it. They just opened 24hrs during the weekend so when there isn't anything to do it's cool to just head up there and hand out for a bit. They have some great restaurants and it is just a matter of time before it becomes a full-fledged casino. However, I noticed cleanliness to be an issue, with dust all over the top of all the machines and it can be freezing in some of the rooms. I also agree with the above statements about the point cards, their useless.

And by the way the highest payouts are in the smoking areas because that is the area with people who have addicted personalities. Machines are good there, try not to play any GTECH machines though.

I've been to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods not to mention just about every casino on the eastcoast,LV,Reno, and the Midwest. In every casino I have felt that I had a chance to win. I would win some and loose some and if I didn't expect to win the big one all the time, I would leave with a good feeling that I wagered my money against a House that was providing a fair playing ground. At Twin Rivers I have never had that feeling. Every Casino that operates under the watchful eye of a gaming commission must provide slot machine payout percentages, wonder why Twin Rivers does not. I'll tell you the State Run the Casino and does want you to know that the payouts are so ridiculously low that if you knew them you would never go back. Any Casino establishment that expects continued patronage must provide a fair and honest gaming environment. I feel Twin Rivers does not and as I have notice over the last Month there attendance is starting to drop. I suggest the State get out of the Casino Business and let those who know best run Twin Rivers and give this area of New England a fair and honest gaming establishment to visit.

The cold is to keep people awake i turn spend more money. That is something companies around the world and schools use. Effect in some ways or drive a small % out. I buring this is

lkets wake up and make this a money maker and not a bigger defficit for RI. If this place falls through it will cost us millions in revenue and or law suits! Believe me I am not a gambler. I went there 3x but I understand finace and this will dig us deeper. The Governor will THEN CUT MORE JOBS AND put people of middle class out of work and people in need of hunman services on the streets. So the BIGGER OF THE BIG IS --MAKE IT WORK! OR WE PAY MILLIONS MORE!

Ideas:
-bring in higher name entertainment--what si wrong with Lincoln Park gearing towards oldies all the time, not enough sports, etc.
-yes, provide free appetizers and watered down drinks (to keep control) or coupons for only a set # per client if they are actively gambling or paid for a show. THIS IS WHAT every other casino that is NOT introuble does.

WAKE up & take a trip to TAHOE....I was there on business and saw how CALMLY IT WORKED AND NO illegal offenses that could be seen.High class and quiet as they offered a hotel and passes to local establishments, massages, or site seeing. MAKE REVENUE DONT DUMP IT!

AMO!
