I for one will turn down the option of being radiated. These scanners have not been proven to be safe. I will drive if I wish to go a distance. You frequent fliers better get before and after pictures cause either your DNA is gonna get scrambled or your skin is gonna have some lesions....

I'd like to know what's in his left pants pocket.
Not his pistol. There's a reason they call him 'Tiny'.

Yup. Tony's past catching up with him in this picture. And I'll bet he thought nobody would notice.
He was ready to spead his cheeks

Hope the Mayor is keeping track of his x-ray exposure which is accumulative over a lifetime and can and does cause Cancer. Guess he is ignorant of radiation as is the government and most of the general population. Geez people get some smarts about is stuff.

Hope the mayor is keeping tack of his x-ray exposures as it is accumulative over a lifetime. Radiation can and does cause cancer. The lower the dose the more it is absorbed into the skin. Geez people get some smarts about this. The government is pushing us into something that has long lasting and dire effects.

Here are some of the new TSA slogans to cringe about:

"Can't see London, can't see France unless we see your underpants."

"Grope discounts available"

"Only we know if Lady Gaga is really a lady"

"Don't worry, my hands are still warm from the last guy"

"Wanna fly?? Drop your fly"

"We've handled more balls than Barney Frank"

"We rubbed you the wrong way so you can be on your way"

"When in doubt we make you whip it out"

Knowing how vain this clown of a mayor is, he probably hung a Dodger Dog on his wanker so as to embelish his child-like private parts.

Villaraigosa - if it's "wasn't offensive in any way," why don't you also post a picture of your scan and what the TSA is seeing? Put that in the article.

I heard this morning that Congress exempted themselves, just like they exempted themselves from their stinking socialist health care bill.

That exemption is probably for life - like the Secret Service detail for former Presidents and their families even though they're now just ordinary citizens.
Elite for life.
Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Franklin are rolling in their graves over the abuses today's so-called 'leaders' are doing to the Constitution.
We need to disband and rebuild our government and put it back to the way it was intended to be. There's a reason the U.S. broke from Europe (England).
NO EUROPEAN SOCIALISM! This is a Representative Republic!
If somebody can come up with a suitable 'Declaration of Independance' for this millenium; I'll be more than happy to be the 'John Hancock' type signer. Big, bold letters impossible to miss.
Sigh.

I totally feel you, lastoutlaw.

Oh sure, it is probably for life. Like they also give themselves premium healthcare and retirements for life, paid for by us, as we're supposed to scramble for the crumbs.

The scanners alter one's DNA and that is why they are being used. Of course, greed is also involved.
The biggest terrorist threats to Americans is our government. Starting at the lowest level, cops, CHP, Sheriffs, etc. all the way to the spooks at the CIA and their ilk.
Governments always need to make up boogey men to clamp down on freedoms.
There is no such thing as Al-Qeada and Osama Bin Laden is dead, has been for years.
With the moronic TSA agents, anything can and has gotten past them from factual stories where the credibility of the author can't be refuted.
So, for those who think these scanners are no big deal, line up willingly and fly.
Now I've heard everything. The government is obtaining DNA samples from a scanner? Hoo boy, you better put on your tinfoil hat, take your meds and get some professional help because you are certifiably insane.

I fly regularly and have never had a problem with the TSA or any other agency. I also think the scanners are a waste of money and have never been patted down in my entire life. If you don't wanna fly, fine. That's what Greyhound buses are for.

You don't have good English comprehension, do you.

Try re-reading 'anon's' post.

See if you can get it this time.

I realize it's a long holiday weekend,
but do you really think you should be drinking this early??

You must be very lonely on holidays.....TURKEY!!
