China donates equipment to Cambodia for 2012 ASEAN meetings

You were correct. In order for Vietnam to save Cambodia and get the power, Vietnam had to risk a great deal against China. Only with the support from the Soviet Union, Vietnam would dare to risk go into Cambodia. As we have seen, immediately within 2 months, China rushed to Khmer Rouge's aids with an invasion in North Vietnam, trying to draw away the Vietnamese from Cambodia. You know this right? China preferred Khmer Rouge to stay in power.

In the current day, the close strategic supporter are India and Russia, with the indirect strategic supporter to be USA and the Western powers.
